Zippered in the back,fitted design acentuate the waist and figure.Shoulder pads give the dress that 1980's look!
Skirt has a white tulle petticoat and is shorter in the center and longer in the sides.Support in the bodice,flaring at the hips,attaching to the 2 layer lace skirt.

The craftsmen had gotten used to using two layers of metal in different colors at the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century, only by then they were no longer using silver but platinum.
This precious piece is made for two metals,probably alpaca(it is named for its silvery appearance, but contains no elemental silver unless plated. Other common names for this alloy are German silver, paktong, new silver and alpacca), and a gold toned metal.There is a lot of detail in this Cherub,in his wings,hair and panel of fabric covering her body. Beautiful face and feet and hands.
Brooch is in perfect condition. It measures a bit more of 2 inches tall and 2 inches wide.

Jewels cast in this unusal material assumed very delicate floral or neo-classical openwork forms, lacquered in shiny black.

Florenza jewelry was a line of jewelry created by Dan Kasoff Inc., NYC, beginning in 1950. It was a successful line that favored Renaissance Revival themes using antique finishes to the metal settings. Quality settings and stones were always used.
These vintage gold-tone rhinestone Coro earrings are signed in script on the back. They have clip-backs and are set with sparkling multi-colored rhinestones. The condition is excellent .They feature a paisley motif and a leaf followed by 2 green,1 pink and 3 crystal clear rhinestones each.
They have a line of tiny rhinestones on the paisley and each one is missing one of the tiny ones.
They each measure approximately 3/4" in width x 1 1/4" in height.

20 years ago,in 1989, a week after his first show and at the young age of 21, Christian Francis Roth was heralded by Women's Wear Daily as Seventh Avenue's latest boy wonder.
In August 1989 and in the New Yorker of January 1990, Holly Brubach proclaimed of Roth's designs, "These clothes would look first-rate in Paris or Milan or Timbuktu. It is already too late to call him promising. There is, in his clothes, nothing more to wait for." Roth has scrupulously chosen to take from art only what he accommodates to the construction of clothing. His inlaid panels, sometimes compared to the finest marquetry, are a skilled fabrication in the pattern of the garment. While some fashion designers have sought to poach on art's prestige and to steal some aesthetic thunder, Roth has committed only the most discriminating larceny, flattering both art and fashion. His concern in integrating scribbles into the form of a garment is more integral to his medium than the cartoon appropriations of Pop Art.

That information pretty much explains the tought behind the clothes made By Christian Francis Roth. This awesome two piece set in electric blue was constructed on 62% linen,38 %nylon.
Both top and Bottom feature a very sexy chain made of holes trimmed on the fabric and finished with stitching. You can wear them as separates too. I can visualize this spaguetti straps top with jeans make you look like a real top model. They have zippers in the side(top) and zipper in the back(skirt)for beter fitting and a sexy long slit.
