This hat and glove set is really stunning and the color combos are endless!
I am rating both patterns as Easy. They are knitted in the round on circular and double pointed needles and involve some very simple increase and decrease techniques. The thumb of the fingerless gloves is simple BO technique, so there is no shaping involved.
And best yet, both the hat and the gloves can be made using only one skein of Paton's Classic Wool and one more for the roses.
If you do not knit, however, I do also sell the finished items. If you do not see a color combination you like already made up in my shop, convo me. I love taking custom orders.

PATTERN- Watercolor Doll- With or Without Legs

A sweet little Waldorf inspired doll and a fairly fast knit for the little girl in your life.
She is knit entirely in the round and this pattern includes optional legs. The doll I’ve knitted without legs (top picture) is knit in a gorgeous variegated yarn from Wisdom Yarns. This particular colorway inspired the name “Watercolor Doll”, a lovely pastel paint box.

This pattern is rated easy-intermediate. It is knit entirely on double pointed needle and at one point uses 7 at a time. It uses very simple increasing and decreasing techniques and you will be picking up stitches for the arms. The hair is applied fairly simply.

Measurements:

The body (not including the arms) is 2” wide.
Without legs she is 9.5” long, just over 10” with legs.

This beautiful, Waldorf inspired doll is ready to make friends with a special little girl.
Her dress has been knit with a soft, rose colored wool. She is stuffed softly with polyester fiberfil. Her dress features a lovely feather and fan stitch along the bottom. Unlike the other Watercolor doll I have for sale in my she does have legs. Her hair is hand stitched to her head.

From the tip of her head to her toes she measures just over 10" long. Her body is 2" wide.

There is no more classic accessory than a string of pearls,making any woman feel gorgeous and feminine. Here is my take on the timeless piece, a String of Purls. Hand knitted with a luxuriously soft and smooth bamboo/silk yarn, the necklace measures approximately 19.5" long. Each "pearl" is about 1.5" long and .25" wide and each has been individually filled with polyester fiber fill. It comes together with a toggle clasp.

This beautiful, Waldorf inspired doll is ready to make friends with a special little girl. Her dress has been knit with a gorgeous varigated yarn in sweet, dreamy pastels. This lovely yarn is what inspired her name, Watercolor Doll.
From the yarns to the stuffing she is 100% wool. Her body consists of a lovely gown, detailed with a feather and fan stitch, and a torso, arms and head stuffed with wool. She is made without legs but I have crocheted a disk to seal up her torso so the stuffing does not escape. Her hair is hand stitched to her head. From the tip of her head to the bottom of her dress she measures 9.5" long. Her body is 2" wide.

This listing is for patterns to both styles of cuffs.

The Knitted Rose Cuff is knit on size 2 needles with a sport weight crochet thread. It is knit back and forth on straight needles and comes together at the back with 2 buttons.

A little faster to knit is the Rose Mitten Cuff. I call it mitten cuff because it fits your wrist like the cuff of a mitten! This one is knit in the round on size 7 double pointed needles using a worsted weight yarn.
