LILLIES AND LACE Lampwork Earrings Wire Sterling Silver Wrapped Peridot Ruby

Decadent OOAK earrings with gemstones and my own lampwork beads wrapped with loads of sterling silver wire!

Lampwork beads hand-made by myself in my studio. Large lily's sit atop a beautiful raked backdrop of ruby. The petals are curled, just like the real thing!

On a framework of sterling silver wire, coiled and coiled together with tiny sterling balls, genuine faceted Peridot and 2 very large Rubies! Hand forged (by me) sterling french wires.

Total length of these OOAK earrings is just shy of 3 1/4 inches. The drop is 2 1/2. Yes, they are long, but that's the style now!

***NOTE***The last photograph was taken outside in natural light, the others were taken under studio lighting and actually depict the true color of the earrings.

Earrings Wire Wrapped Briolettes hammered sterling silver

From my Spring 2009 Collection

Three wire wrapped briolettes including the largest a Pineapple faceted Quartz, faceted Peridot and Prehnite. These are wrapped in sterling wire suspended from hammered sterling silver ear wires I made. The sterling silver has been oxidized and hand polished with steel wool. These measure 1 3/4 from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the stone.

This special necklace features one my lampwork Starflowers. This one I cored with a sterling silver insert. It has a Thai silver bail. The rest of this piece is strung with Czech beads, genuine Turquoise beads, sterling silver hollow tubes, Bali sterling silver beads, pewter beads, sterling heart charm and seed beads. This closes with a sterling S-clasp. Total length is 25 inches.

Making Waves is a pendant necklace I made using one of my own art glass lampwork beads. I used premium Italian glass and US made "silver glass". It is put together with sterling wire, sterling components and Swarovski crystals. Comes complete with a silver ball chain that is 24 inches long. You can cut it with a nippers to adjust the length to your liking. The pendant is 3 inches long.

Soft, romanrtic and pleasing to the eye. Elegant OOAK earrings with gemstones, lampwork beads and Keishi Pearls!

I feel compelled to tell you these were very difficult to photograph. Simply because of using fancy posts instead of wires, I was unable to hang them, thus laying them down to photograph does not do these justice. Let me assure you they are gorgeous. You will LOVE them.

Two very beautiful lampwork beads from my stash enhanced with the addition of perfectly matched Keishi Pearls and faceted Garnets, wrapped with sterling wire and attached to a sterling chain. A few pieces of sparkling Sunstone was also used. And with the placement of the stick pearls horizontally, they have a Zen-like appeal about them. The sterling filigree earrings themselves are a sight to behold! Wonderful! Wonderful! These are hard to part with.

Total length of these OOAK earrings is just shy of 3 1/4 inches. The drop is 2 3/4.

Loon Songs

This pendant is created with one of my art glass beads in representative colors of a Common Loon. I created the setting from .925 sheet sterling silver. It is stamped on the reverse with my signature stamp and a sterling mark. The chain is Thai silver. If you are unfamiliar with silver from Thailand, it's silver content is higher than sterling. This chain has a delicate pattern on each link and is completely hand-made.

The pendant measures 1 inch in diameter. The chain is 18 inches. I will include a lovely brocade bag so this is ready for gift-giving.

A gorgeous bead made with premium silver-rich glass from Doulbe Helix then lightly wrapped in 22K gold leaf. I cored this with copper tubing, next I made the copper caps, hammered the design in them and give them an antiqued patina. I riveted everything in place and gave it a final polish. This bead features tiny starfish or sea urchins I made from my own hand-pulled murrini cane. It is on a base of transparent grey with silvered shards of glass. Making the murrini is a time consuming process and placing them on the bead so they look properly is difficult too. This is one of my own designs on a lampwork bead I made from Italian glass which I then hand fitted with a copper lined core and copper bead caps I make myself at the bench. I oxidized the copper then gave it a polish. Would be lovely as a pendant or a large focal bead on your bracelet.

Aurora Borealis...Inspired by my time living in Alaska where the aurora was a natural occurance every night.

This fabulous necklace features many lampwork beads made by Donna Millard of Fyrebeadz* Studio (me). The largest focal bead shimmers with opal-like influences just like the aurora does. It is wonderful and so hard to capture the true beauty with a mere camera. Additional beads are discs with undulating colors inside them.

Generous amounts of Sterling Silver, handcrafted in Indonesia, were used along with beautifully sparking faceted Amethyst rounds.

This piece of art glass jewelry measures 28 inches long. On me it comes to rest just above my, well, you know, chest. The lampwork focal bead is almost 2 inches. I strung this with heavy jewelers cable. A sterling silver clasp has a design to keep with the original "flow" of the necklace.

A gallery quality piece of art to wear, an original by the artist.

I love the abstract pattern and colors in this glass lampwork cabochon that I cut recently. First I make the bead then I use lapidary equipment to make it into a cab. It has a a mix of purples, greens, white, violet and black, perfect to wear any time of the year.

I created the setting from .925 sterling silver. It is simple, yet elegant and is stamped on the reverse with my signature stamp and a sterling mark.

The pendant measures 1 inch in diameter. I left it bright and shiney.

Included is a sterling snake chain. The chain measures 18" long.

Add a little bling to your life, these are not your everyday earrings and another pair like these won't be found. Delightful, elegant and charming, one of a kind earrings.

They are spectacular and will definitely get a lot of attention. Inspired by the winter wonderland about to overtake the lands where I live, and oh! So perfect for holiday parties or just slipping something on to make you feel glamorous.

The glass lampwork beads have been made by me in the flame of my torch. I use only premium glass in my beads. Complimenting the richenss of these I've chosen to use Keishi Pearls and Swarovski Crystals wrapped with sterling silver wire onto beautiful hand-made Thai silver chain clustered beneath my featured beads! One long Biwa stick pearl adds to the drama.

I used fancy french wires to attach everything to and as you can see, they also have a pearl set in the sterling. Other components include Bali sterling silver spacer beads, Thai silver bead caps, sterling wire.

Overall length of these are (from the bottom of the french wire) 3 inches.

This is a very LARGE bead! Best suitable used as a pendnat or a necklace.

A gorgeous galaxy bead that measures 27mm x 27mm with a large 1/4" hole. I hand fitted a copper lined core with hammered copper end caps that I have stamped and oxidized. This was made on a black base, rolled in silver foil with additional colors of glass then encased in crystal clear. This would look lovely on a sterling chain used as a necklace.

***Chain is not included***

This bead will fit all the European jewlery systems, i.e. Troll, Pandora, Biagi and Chamilia. But, keep in mind, this is a large bead, best suited for a necklace not a bracelet.

With the addition of sterling silver lentil beads, genuine coral discs and sterling spacers you have a one of a kind piece of art jewelry, gallery worthy. The toggle is also sterling.

This bracelet is 8 1/2 inches long and will fit an average wrist (if you want it to hang on your wrist slightly) to a larger wrist size. I can make it smaller by taking out a few beads too.

Viking Knit Sterling and Lampwork Bangle Bracelet

This bracelet features a hand made by myself lampwork bead with cabbage roses that I made a sterling bezel setting for. The bangle was created with intricately woven sterling wire from an agoe old technique that dates back to the Vikings. Accented with sterling flower beads at each end and closes securely with a fantastic sterling and carved MOP shell box clasp. Stamped .925

Length is 8" and will fit up to a 7.5" wrist.
