My two little ones say they’ve had a “bam” when they get hurt, hence the creation of the Bam Bag.
Bam Bags have many uses. They can be used warm or cold. Use warm to sooth a head that aches or to warm up little hands on a cold blustery day. Use cold on that banged up knee or to cool a forehead with a fever.
This handmade washable reusable bag is made from cotton fabric and is lined with cotton muslin which makes a nice barrier between the rice bag and your little ones skin. They measure approximately 4inches by 6 inches and have a Velcro closure to keep the included rice bag securely within. Bam Bags can be washed in cold water, dried on a low heat and ironed warm if desired.
The rice bag is NOT washable.
For a warm Bam Bag, just pop into the microwave for 15-30 seconds and then shake rice bag to distribute the heat evenly. Any longer than 30 seconds will result in a bag much too hot to use, remember, if it’s too hot for you, it’s to hot for your little one.
For a cold Bam Bag, keep rice bag in the freezer. Be sure to put into a plastic bag before doing so to keep the rice bag from taking on food/freezer smells.
You can also fill a small plastic bag with ice to use in your bam bag!
