When I had finished this necklace, my younger sister, who is not a huge wine drinker, told me that she got this warm and fuzzy feeling after looking at the necklace and immediately thought that it should be called "A Sip of Champagne" and I totally agree with her...it gives off the feeling of the kind of wine you taste at a Wine Tasting at an awesome vineyard winery.

The dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy...one of my favorite sections in the Nutcracker Ballet. As I was making this necklace, I was working in the beads first and it reminded me so much of the colors and the feel of The Sugar Plum Fairy that I sought out this fairy pendant I have had for a little while.

The Fairy Pendant is very heavy and made of Antiqued Bronze. Her facial features are rather eerie and has beautifully crafted wings. A set of six Olive Green Speckled Czech Glass Rondelles sit together and are capped with Antiqued Brass Bead Caps. There's something about seeing the colors red and brown together during this time of year. This is truly one of my favorite pieces.

If you love butterflies, you will love it too.
