Tatted bookmark - in many colors

I use cotton thread #80 (tatting) for the first size and #10 for the second. The thinner thread gives more delicate look and is suitable for books with thinner pages, and the thicker thread is more suitable for smaller children, and thicker book pages.
The color combinations are almost endless, including the following:
-pink and white
-white and sky blue shades
-white and dark blue shades
-white and yellow
-dark pastel shades - variegated
-light pastel shades - variegated
-rainbow color - bright variegated
-pink and green shades
and the list goes on!
If there is a color you want and I do not listed have, just ask for it - I bet I have it or I can get it in no time.

Bag with fallen leaves - hand knitted hat

$25.00
Another of the "experiments" of mine - this time it's not only the thread, it's the shape too. This hat is made from a ribbon thread in the color of autumn leaves (100% nylon). The peculiarity is that the crown is not closed, as with the others, but stays slightly open, so you can put your pony tail through the top. If you have not a pony tail - well, the ribbon on the top closes the opening well, and drapes gracefully. I left it plain, but you can decorate it even more - f.e. wooden beads on the end of the ribbon will combine well.
Smoke free home, no pets hair.
Hand wash, lay flat to dry.

$25.00
This hat started as an experiment working lace with a fancy yarn. Made from polyester thread, the yarn is mainly black with silver colored shiny spots, forming something like a ladder. This hat is more suitable for a party or even formal occasion, but you can wear it at the daytime with the blue jeans too (LOL). Sorry, the picture does not give the full homage to the real thing.
Hand knitted, in circular rounds (no back or side seams). Smoke-free home, no pet's hair in my hats.
Hand wash in lukewarm water, lay flat to dry.

This super soft hand knitted hat (46% acrylic, 45% polyester, and 9% wool) will keep you warm in the cold weather. The design is simple, intended to show the best from the yarn's structure.
Smoke free home, no house pet's hair in my hats.
Hand wash in lukewarm water, lay flat to dry.
(Hurry up, it looks like this yarn is discontinued, and I have only 1 more skein left!)

As all my hats, it's hand made in circles, so there is no seam - ideal for a chemo hat. The decoration is the rice stitch, forming the body of the hat - no holes in this one. The yarn is soft and tender to the skin - no itchy wool here.
Smoke-free home, no pet's hair in my crafts room!
Easy care - hand wash in lukewarm water, lay flat to dry. (Or, if you want, you can put it over an upside-down jar to dry.)

I made lots of hats with this yarn, yet this one is the first to be placed for sale in etsy - my teen daughter and her friends just love them.
The hat is universal - you can wear it as a beanie (like the teens), but it has enough body and you can tuck your hair under it too. The lacy top and the rolled brim give the hat some flapper's charm.
100 % acrylic. Smoke free home, no pet's hair (they do not enter my crafts room).
Hand wash, lay flat to dry.

It's made from 100% cotton yarn in pink, yellow and lime, and makes me to think about a frozen drink.

The hat is appropriate for chemo hat, as the ribbed design fits closer to the head and does not have any decorations, that could irritate the sensitive skin.

The care is easy - as with all my hats, I recommend hand wash and lay flat to dry.

And again, if you want a color I do not have displayed, just ask for!

The cables pattern makes the hat to fit closer to the head, which makes it really suitable for a chemo hat.
Made from 100% soft (sport weight) acrylic (no itchy wool in my chemo hats!). Comes from a smoke free home, and I keep my pets away from my work room, so no pets' hair too.
The care is easy - although the label says "machine wash and dry", this is a hand made item, so I suggest hand wash and lay flat to dry for all my hats. Just in a case.

My opinion is that the 3 basic colors (green, yellow and red) are the most important in representing the Ethiopian flag. So I tried it on a cream background and I think this tam came pretty well. Enjoy!

One size fits most women sizes.

Hand knitted, 100% soft acrylic yarn.

Hand wash, lay flat to dry.
Comes from a smoke-free home, no pet's hair too.

The melange is obtained by twisting together one white, one orange and one red strand of mixed (50/50 wool and acrylic) yarn. The cuff is folding free (not sewn) so you can adjust the hat lower or higher over your ears. Very worm, soft and versatile hat. All my hats are unique, so they have names. Usually I name them on the predominant impression of the color. This one reminds me about the ruins of ancient Mexico - the blue of the sky, the red and brown of the fertile soil, the green of the jungle - and the white of the time.
Made from 100% polyester yarn, the hat has some universal qualities - you can wear it as a beanie or a skull cap, or you can tuck your hair under it and have a nice beret. Perfect for spring/fall day time and these chilly summer nights you may have.
One size fits most women.
Easy care - hand wash and lay flat to dry.

This weekend (7/10 to 7/12) only all my items will sell for 10% less - CIJ (Christmas in July). I have no time to reduce all the prices, so if you buy something just wait for me to send you an invoice. It will be easier this way.

Pale violet chemo hat - hand knitted

$20.00
This soft and comfortable to wear hat is made from pale violet yarn (39% nylon, 36% acrylic, 25% mohair). The decorations are small eye holes, that do not interfere with the softness and the warmth, making it excellent for a chemo hat.
The amount of nylon and acrylic gives to the hat softness, and the mohair makes it warm without being itchy.
One size, fits most women sizes.
Smoke free home, no pets hair.
Care instructions - simply hand wash and lay flat to dry.

The had snugs well on the head, but has enough volume to allow you to wear it as you want - could be`a beanie, a skull hat or a tam.
The hat is soft, and as all my other hats, it's knitted on circles, so there is no seam.
Comes from a smoke-free house, and I keep my pets away from my crafts room, so no pet's hair either.
Easy care - hand wash and lay flat to dry, even if the yarn label says the yarn is machine washable and dryable - just in a case, as it's a hand made item.

Russian winter - fluffy hand knitted hat

$20.00
When I finished to knit this hat, I looked at it and it reminded me something from long time ago. When young, I used to love watching the figure scatting competitions. And always was impressed by the hats of one of the trainers - she had the most awesome fur hats I ever saw! Of course my hat is not for the Russians winters, but who will not like to have something fluffy and animal-friendly even in warmer weather?

The hat is made from polyester yarn (Boa) in taupe. Universal size - fits most of the women heads. Also for further security I attach an elastic band inside, so the hat will stay firmly on your head.

The care instructions are simple - even if the yarn says machine washable and dryable, I recommend gentle hand washing and laying flat to dry.

Autumn leaf tatted earrings

$20.00
Well, these earrings have the same leafy shape as the rest of the today's listings, but they are in the autumn colors -
the thread is brown to gold variegated cotton, together with emerald-green glass seed beads. The tatted part measures 2x1 1/8". The findings are yellow metal. I use not only hooks - after I lost several earrings in the past, I always secure them with split rings.
I always stiffen the earrings pretty hard, as I prefer my earrings to have this "hard jewelry" feeling, but if you prefer I will omit the stiffening part.
As the material is fiber, the earrings are very light, and I just could not take a nice enough picture of them - they kept moving and moving, as you can see.

The pattern is from an earring booklet from Snowgoose.

Just in a case you want something different - you always can customize the colors (or at least to try LOL - I will do my best to match your request).

When I started wearing tatted earrings, it took me awhile to get used to the feeling I do not wear anything.
I stiffen my earrings very well, so they keep their shape for a long time, and I provide instructions how to care about or how to re-stiffen them, if needed.
