This listing is for the spindle pictured. The whorl is made from recycled pear wood in an a-symmetrical shape that reminds me of a ginko leaf. The spindle shaft is a red enameled chopstick! The silver-tone hook is actually screwed in, not just glued in. The whorl has been clear-coated with a water-based satin finish.

The spindle whorl measures approx. 2" wide, 3" long and 3/16" thick (5 x 7 x .6 cm). The spindle shaft is 7.5" (21cm) from the hook to the tip. This lightweight spindle weighs 16 grams, 6/10 of an ounce.

My mom spins, so she tested this for spin and balance for me.

These simple little earrings remind me of the shape of a ginko leaf. The wood was sanded very smooth and then wrapped in stainless steel wire. Two non-tarnishing jump rings hang from them with a tiny clear bead attached to the second one. They hang from sterling silver ear wires. The rings are the color of coral and green tea.

Lightweight and beautiful, you'll love giving or wearing these!
