Maybe I have the air conditioner too cold... but I still would be making cool colored jewelry! (I think!) While the colors of the flowers could be sea blues, the icy beads that hang along are crisp and chilly. There is quite a bit of sparkle there, too, in the beads and the crystal at the center of the flowers. A spearmint feather accents the almost 3 1/2" key to perfection. 18" gunmetal chain, or silver if you prefer.

Yes, lavender lilac could be considered redundant, but it also sounds quaint to me. I like quaint. The quaint petals measure about 3/4" across and the piece is firmly attached to a silver-toned adjustable ring.

I'll admit it, the ocean amazes me. It's vast and beautiful, and that is literally just the surface. Underneath, words fail me. So much beauty and variety and richness! I should move out of Ohio! ;) But seriously, the ocean inspires me like nothing else. So here, a necklace of calming blues and seafoam greens, and a splash of white. And of course, a seahorse, because I love them. I think it's their curlicue tails...

I'd like to be under the sea. And if octopuses had gardens I would like to imagine they would look something like this. Soft shades of blue and teal, and just a bit of lavender and white. And warm coppery flowers that sort of resemble starfish.

The copper frame is about 2 1/4" (55mm) long by 1 3/4" (46mm) wide, and the necklace is 16 1/2" (42.5mm) long.

This necklace was inspired by the heirloom tomatoes I grew this year. It was the first time growing my own veggies! It was really neat to see the seeds sprout and grow, develop flowers and teeny baby tomatoes, and finally mature to ripe deliciousness! The 1" lightweight red tomato is flanked by vintage lucite and copper flowers and beads, in different stages of ripeness.
