The Holiday season is approaching fast and I have been busy thinking up some holiday treats that bring back warm feelings of love and family.

Hand Pies are the perfect dessert! Think bite-sized apple pie, hand-held cherry pie, or bite-sized pumpkin pie. Your guests will adore these! And there won't be any leftovers, for sure. Actually, if there are any leftover {though not likely}, they can easily be taken home!

Just because the summer has ended, doesn't mean we don't want some sweet in our lives and so I decided to offer delicious, tart, lemon bars! I happen to think a platter of these will look so beautiful on a Thanksgiving table! Don't you?

You will receive this order baked in a 9"x9" foil pan ready for you to cut and serve. The bars travel best this way =) Just cut and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar and get ready to pucker!

My lemon bars are made with a 1/2 cup of freshly hand squeezed lemon juice and always the freshest, highest quality ingredients. I like to double the crust recipe so you get lots of deliciousness to bite in to. The taste is amazing!

Momma's Rugelah - 1 DOZEN - Apricot Filling

If you have never tasted Rugelah, or don't even know how to say it {try "Rugulah"}, then you MUST do so!

This soft, flaky, pastry-like 3-4" cookie is filled with sweet, chewy baked apricot, walnut and raisin filling. The rolled pastry is then sprinkled generously with a cinnamon sugar mixture just before it goes in to the oven to bake. The result is beyond delicious!

Growing up with a Jewish heritage, I knew these as an ethnic treat, but much to my surprise, I have found that many many people bake these cookies for the Holidays! Who knew?! I guess the local bakeries spread the word!

My cut outs aren't just fun and pretty to look at! They really are delicious! I have a wonderful, moist, cookie dough that is flavored with freshly zested orange peel. It adds a perfect bit of taste and a fresh moist quality.

You have never enjoyed a more peanut buttery delight! These moist, dense, delicious cookies are first made into a ball shape, rolled in sugar and then shaped with the traditional fork cross pattern.

This cookie is an oldie but goody. I have found that most people like the traditional flavors of cookies, so I always make sure not to stray too far from classic flavors ;)

I do, however, like to provide variations in appearance. As seen in my pictures, I also create this flavor with a Hershey Kiss in the center! Just let me know what kind you want!

I find myself in an ethnic sort of mood lately. I grew up eating these traditional Jewish treats. One half of the top of these light, white, slightly cakey delights is iced with a vanilla icing and the other half is iced with chocolate.

While doing some research, I found out that Black and Whites were originally made by a baker who decided to use up some leftover white cake mix. They are also known to some as HALF MOONS. Whatever you know them by, I know them as "Please pass me another!".

The big dilemma is how to eat them. Do you eat the chocolate first? Last? Or do you eat down the middle so that you taste both flavors together? I'm a vanilla girl, myself.
