I added a scroll of China plate rims that I also fired violet buds onto.. , filled around all of those with some of my handpainted green fill tiles. The sides and bottom had the same tiles on it.. used a gray grout to make the colors pop. Yes, all handmade by myself. All tiles are kiln fired..and sealed with grout sealer.. Painted the back of the plaque purple.Quality mosaic work. I have been doing mosaic for several years now and making my own tiles well over 10 years. Makes a wonderful gift item or just for yourself.
