The photos are of the first cuff I made, which I am delighted to say has sold, so therefore any subsequent cuffs will be made to order especially for you.

The Cheetah Conservation Fund do fabulous work in Namibia and Kenya, working to conserve and protect these beautiful, endangered cats. They have implemented a livestock guarding dog programme so that farmers can use specially trained dogs to protect their flocks from predation by cheetahs, and therefore protect the cheetahs from being trapped or shot.

I will be donating 50% of the proceeds from the sale of this cuff to this organisation.

You know in the summer you have ice lollies (popsicles in the US), and you break a piece off? The way the ice looks at the broken bit is how this moldavite looks to me. Consequently, every time I look at it, my mouth waters!

So, moldovite, eh? Moldavite is similar to volcanic glass and has something of a mysterious origin, but is widely argued to have been formed 15 million years ago after the impact of a giant meteorite in present-day Nördlinger Ries. Splatters of rocks that were melted by the impact cooled while they were still in the air and most of them fell in central Bohemia, in an area crossed by the River Vltava which happens to be Moldau in German, so hence the name. As such, the glass can be found in the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany, is becoming increasingly rare, and is always green.

This necklace has been lovingly created using labradorite beads which I feel complement the green of the moldovite. The necklace is also enhanced with tiny sterling silver beads. It is strung on "tiger-tail" which is an exceptionally strong nylon covered steel core. It is finished off with a hand-crafted sterling silver hook closure. The length is 53cm. OOAK.

This is your chance to be the owner of a little green alien!

Oh, and one last thing, don't ever be tempted to clean it with salt. I read that... I'm just passing it on ;)

This ring is a single strip of sterling silver, coiled round and held in place by a 9ct gold rivet. The surface has been polished smooth and shiny. It measures just a little under 7mm at its widest point, but tapers to about 6mm for most of the way round. This one is size 5 1/2.
