Sometimes while antiquing, you come across something you love but doesn't match your collection. This is one of those things from Cyndi. She kept her hair sticks in it before she got the haircut.

It's a very delicate and light pitcher in white porcelain, glazed with a very light translucent blue. The flowers are four golden roses, and one tiny gold bud, with bronze leaves. The handle is fluted and only a tad darker blue than the rest.

This pitcher is 6 inches tall and 6 inches wide at its widest point. There is one tiny chip in the mouth, shown in the pictures with a blue arrow. The bottom has pottery marks and is not glazed. There is no manufacturer name or mark.

Found in a dusty antique shop in Northeast GA, this comes dust-free with love from Cyndi.

While antiquing, we all have those items that we fall in love with but don't match anything you collect. This is one of Cyndi's. This is a delicate ivory ceramic bowl with hand painted flowers in the center. The interesting part is that the inside is glazed with some sort of iridescence. The trim is ruffled and coated with gold leaf.

There are no markings or stamps on the bowl, inside or outside. 8 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall. Flowers are two reddish pink carnations and one green/white rose with a red center. Leaves are green and silver and the stem of the rose is decorated with tiny brown thorns.

Late 70s stainless steel Barlow utensil with original box. This unique utensil has a serrated edge, a scraper and a tulip shaped blunt edge. I'm guessing it's a cheese knife and spreader, but it may also be a pie server.

Made in Japan.

This is a unique and fun white ruffled lace with a diamond and chevron pattern.

Flawless along the length. No stains or imperfections in the weave. The diamonds shapes are bright white and the chevrons are a silvery white. The pattern is very cool to look at in different lighting as the stitching is done in the shiny thread as well.

Chacom Straight Grain briar estate pipe - RESTORATION

This is one of the most stunning pipes to come through Shaun's workshop. If I hadn't seen it before restoration I would have sworn this pipe was brand new.

The stem is the original but the nomenclature (the silver CC emblem in the stem) is from a different Chacom pipe. If you're a research junkie, we believe this line of pipes came with gold nomenclature inlaid into the stem. At decision time, we chose to go with the silver nomenclature rather than replace the entire stem. The stem fits very well into the shank and has almost no signs of wear.

The facts and stats:

Chacom Straight Grain briar pipe with a straight stem and metal filter

Markings: Chacom logo stamp with the words STRAIGHT GRAIN underneath. On the briar near the stem, it's numbered 123. On the stem near the briar it's stamped FRANCE. The CC nomenclature is inlaid in silver on the stem.

Restored tobacco pipe - Alpha Royal briar pipe made in Israel

Made in Israel's only pipe factory, Shalom, the Alpha brand was immensely popular in the international market. Shalom was known for its exquisite briar bending techniques and the brand expanded into the US with factories in New York City and Sparta, NC.

This is one of the pipes made in Israel. The markings say "Alpha Royal" and has a smooth finish. The pipe was heavily smoked and the stamps are worn, but still legible. The dark spot is likely the result of a possible burn through, but the cake inside will still allow the pipe to smoke very well.

This pipe needs a loving home with an experienced smoker who can prolong its life span. The stem is in excellent condition and fits snugly into the shank.

All of Shaun's restorations are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. After restoration, it is polished with carnauba wax and Brebbia professional stem polish.

Polyresin Tortoiseshell Bracelet - vintage

Vintage poly-resin bracelet made to look like tortoiseshell cabochons. The findings are brushed brass. Dated late 1970s when tortoiseshell was internationally banned and began to be duplicated in a polymer resin.

If you wish, I can add a second clasp to the link just behind the 4th stone (the one above the dangly chains) so that it can be used as a medical ID bracelet.

10" from end to end, 7" from clasp to closure. "Stones" are 1" wide.

Bigfoot Hard Drive Clock w/ Turquoise beads - OOAK

Bigfoot made BIG hard drives. The average disc from a hard drive is 4" in diameter. Bigfoots (bigfeet?) measure in at a whopping 5". When I first started making clocks out of hard drives, Dad handed me his only Bigfoot (which was only about 40G) and said "value this one for it is big" or something like that.

This is a one of a kind clock made out of a Bigfoot hard drive. It's fitted with the ball bearing support from the actual hard drive and inlaid with small turquoise spheres. After a LOT of polishing, it has a gorgeous brushed metal look and feel. The hands of the clock are marbled purple and blue. It runs on a single AA battery. (included)

Laird Albert tobacco pipe - restored estate pipe

I found this pipe in a little shop in the NE Georgia mountains. It is made of very dense briar and is wonderfully crafted. I have very little information on Laird Albert pipes but I suspect he's a local pipe maker in the Appalachian mountains. This pipe fits more into the standard calabash shape and is rusticated. It is finished with a very dark chocolate colored stain.

It was very lightly smoked and little restoration had to be done. Sanitized and polished with carnauba wax and Brebbia stem polish.

Measurements: 6" long, 2" tall, 7/8" diameter bowl with 5/8" wall thickness.

This adorable free-form crochet clutch is made from Caron Simply Soft Eco yarn (made from 100% recycled plastic bottles) and some extra dark green acrylic yarn from years ago. The cotton lining is hand stitched into place for extra durability and structure. The button is silver set into resin, showing a lady's profile.

A quote from Cyndi: "This may be the coolest and classiest accident I've ever had." Of course, that quote was off-the-record while she was prancing around showing it off. Pictures of Cyndi prancing have not been released to the press at this time.
