This lovely acorn started as a handmade clay bead made by hand in my studio. It was fired, glazed and finished with an intricate setting that gives it an old world charm.

This beautiful ceramic pendant has a watery blue glaze with olive green undertones. The blue glaze puddles around the textures of the bead.

The length of the chain is about 18" so it sit comfortably just below your collar. The pendant measures about 1 inch in length. It is finished with a strong lobster clasp.

Pottery Teabowl in Brown and Blue

These small cups were thrown on my wheel. They were then stamped, textured, trimmed and hand glazed. They can be used for hot or cold drinks. As they say, if its too hot too hold, its too hot to drink...who needs a handle?

They could be used traditionally for green tea or for a change, use it for morning orange juice. Alternatively, they would be great for holding dips and sauces for crudites.

This is a new glaze that is nameless at the moment but is an earthy chocolate brown with blue accents where the glaze pools more heavily. The interior of each mug is a complementary blue.

My cups are lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe so feel free to use them every day. They are about 2 3/4 inches tall with a 3 1/4 inch diameter mouth and stack neatly for storage.

They holds just under one liquid cup or a bit less than 8 oz.

This round pendant is from my new Peek-a-Boo line. The interior negative space carefully frames the little heart that hangs within.

This pendant captures the delicate color of Waterlilies in the complex glaze. The gentle blue puddles around the textures while the speckled green of the reeds can be seen underneath.

I am addicted to olives, I just can't stop making these little trays for them! Each tray has a little of its own personality with the glazes looking unique depending on how heavy I brush them on.

This original Ceramic clock has a unique Midnight Blue glaze that shows a depth of color ranging from a dark olive green background to creamy light blue accents.

The clay face was fired in my kiln after if was textured, carved and hand glazed. The little hole details were hand carved, allowing only a few of the largest circles to cut entirely through the face. This will allow for the wall color to show through to create an interesting contrast to the dark clock face.

The clockworks is run with an AA battery (not provided)and is light enough to hang from a small nail.

The clock face has a 5 1/2 inch diameter which is perfect for condos, offices or smaller rooms.

This is a stoneware tea cup made on my wheel. It fits perfectly in your hand and the colors are stunning. It is hard to capture the subtle depth and variation of the exterior Midnight Sea glaze. The gentle dripping blue covers a base of olive green making it almost hypnotic. The interior and top rim is glazed waterlily which contrasts to add interest. Waterlily look like gentle olive green with light blue accents.

It is made of stoneware clay and is dishwasher, microwave and food safe. It is about 2 1/2" tall and the mouth is about 4 inches in diameter.

This style of mug holds about 8-9 oz.

The walls of the mug are consistently thin to make it feel light even when filled but the stoneware clay makes it sturdy enough to use every day.

This double scoop ice cream bowl is just a tad smaller than my soup bowls. It could have many uses but my favorite is ice cream!

The Smokey Sky Glaze has a gray-blue base covered with a brighter speckled blue. This color is available for a limited time because I mixed a few glazes together and no longer have the recipe.

This is a perfect piece to be used as a wine or water decanter or it can hold a bouquet or single flower.

This fantastic glaze is called Midnight Sea. It has such a depth of color that it is indescribable. Its olive green undertones set off the drippy blues. The ridges in the sides catch the lighter blue glaze which creates a dramatic textural look. The interior is glazed with Waterlily green to add some contrast.

The rim is 3 inches in diameter while the base is a little wider at about 3 1/2 inches. It is just under 7 inches tall and holds 24 oz of liquid.

Is is water tight, food safe and dishwasher safe thought hand washing extends the life of pottery.

Golden Snowflake Ornaments

I love these little golden snowflakes. They bring cheer while on a tree, attached to a bow on a present or even hanging from pulls on cupboards. Who needs a white snowflake when you can have gold!

Each snowflake is a little different just like the real thing so the textures on your ornaments may be slightly different than those on the photos. I have hand carved designs into a linoplate and use it to stamp relief textures onto the clay. The textures are on the front of the ornament but the glaze is on both sides.

They are about 1 1/2 inches wide and are even light enough to hang from my little juniper tree used as a table center piece!

Stormy Lake is a glaze that captures the power and motion of stormy water. I remember growing up at the cottage and begging to go out in the boat for a ride. This glaze reminds me of gazing at the stormy lake, waiting for a break in the storm so we could get out onto the water.

This rice bowl was thrown on the wheel, altered and hand glazed. The walls are consistently thin so they feel light in your hands even when full. The mouth was altered to give it a gentle oval shape that is subtle yet matches the motion of the glaze. It is a perfect bowl for rice and noodle dishes, soup, or side dishes like salad, vegetables, pasta or even cereal!

It is about 3 1/2 inches tall with a 5 1/2 to 5 3/4 inch diameter. The base narrows to 2 1/4 inches.

I love swirls and spirals. So I made this beautiful ceramic pendant with a dark olive green glaze that puddles blue around the textures. It has a bit of old world charm.

First, I made the clay pendant in my pottery studio. The botanical textures were hand carved then stamped into raw clay before firing. The back of the pendant is left unglazed so you can see the actual clay. The shape is concave (or convex depending on the side you look at) so it is much lighter than it looks.

After I saw the beautiful deep glaze colors, I decided it needed a chunky, earthy colored chain. The 'antique bronze' lobster clasp matches the chain perfectly.

The chain length is 17 3/4" so it sit comfortably just below your collar. The pendant measures just under 1 1/2 inch diameter.

Trio of Golden Stars Ceramic Ornaments

Here is a set of three handmade ceramic ornaments. They are about 1 1/2 inches wide and are even light enough to hang from any sized tree!

Each star is a little different and the textures on your ornaments may be slightly different than those on the photos. Upon purchase, I will choose a set of three that work well together.

I have hand carved designs into a linoplate and use it to stamp relief textures onto the clay. The textures are on the front of the ornament but the glaze is on both sides.

The glaze is a beautiful golden yellow that can be both glossy or matt and I added a little clear bead on the clear hanging line to catch reflections while on your tree as well.

Each ornament will be individually bagged within a bubble envelope when shipped so that the hanging line will not get tangled.

Coffee culture makes an intriguing subject for a photographer. It can illustrate a sense of community, loyalty, comfort, and style. It can encourage nostalgia and connect with personal memory.

Wherever this image takes you, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This 14 x 11 digital photograph has been mounted on a 1 3/4 inch wood panel to give it a modern look that doesn't need framing (unless desired).

It is sealed with a clear coat of heavy Resin which is used not only to protect the image, but to enhance the color and change the contrast of the image to make it truly unique.

Dark Horse is found in Toronto, Ontario Canada and serves one of the best cups of coffee in town. My Barista serves me Cafe Mocha with heavy cream (never skim milk) and tells me "just don't look at the numbers on the carton" Good thing I'm not counting calories!

I just love rings! This rectangular ceramic ring is a complex light olive green with pooling blue around the raised texture. It is made of high fire ceramic clay and is set on an adjustable silver plated ring base.

This is a good sized bowl with a charger plate to match. It is an elegant way to serve lunch! The glaze is called Midnight Sea which is blue with olive green undertones.

It is perfect for soup and a bagel, noodles and sushi, or whatever you are craving. It looks great as a serving dish as well.

The charger plate is siting on small feet to lift it off the table to make it feel important. The edges are curved up as well so that nothing slips off the edge.

The bowl is about 3 inches tall with about a 6 1/2 inch diameter mouth. The plate is 8 by 6 by 1 1/2 tall.

Cobalt Diva Coffee Mug

This Diva mug has been hand altered after being thrown on my pottery wheel. I attached the pulled handle and then altered the rim into an organic shape. This adds a lot of personality to the mug yet is still easy to drink from.

Any liquid would be perfect in this mid sized mug. The walls are consistently thin and it feels the perfect weight in your hands. A small detail stamp was added at the base of the handle too.

This glaze is called Brilliant Blue which is a cobalt blue glaze that has a lot of energy.

The mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, thank goodness.

4 1/4 inches tall, 3 1/4inch diameter that narrows to 2 1/2 at the base - perfect!

The walls of the mug are consistently thin to make it feel light even when filled but the stoneware clay makes it sturdy enough to use every day.

This ceramic clock was handbuilt, textured and glazed with Smoky Sky glaze which has gray blue undertones set off by the lighter blue accents. The impressed textures catch the lighter blue glaze which creates a dramatic look.

The clay face was fired in my kiln after it was textured, altered and hand glazed. The details were well thought out to help you tell time without numbers. The crossbars are situated at the 12, 3,6,and 9 positions so there is no need for numbers to clutter the clean design. The raised wall is also textured to give it visual interest.

The clockworks is run with an AA battery (not provided)and is light enough to hang from a single nail or screw.

The clock face has a 8 inch diameter with a wall around the rim of the clock that stands less than an inch from the base.

This little dish was made to cradle your favorite bar of soap. The ridges were designed to allow water to settle and not make your handmade soaps too soggy to use. I am addicted to all of the lovely soaps found here on Etsy so of course I needed a handmade ceramic tray to hold them!

This one is glazed in Waterlily which has a hint of watery blue with a grass green undertone. The textures were designed carved and stamped into the clay while it was still wet. The dish has slight curve as well, to hold the soap better.

It measures 5 1/2 inches by 4 inches. This dish could also be used as a spoon rest, candle holder or whatever you choose. It is dishwasher safe too.

It could be used traditionally for green tea or for a change, use it for morning orange juice or dips and sauces.

This has a combination of some new glazes I was experimenting with. The interior is a warm cream while the exterior glaze is a brilliant blue with earthy undertones.

My cups are lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe so feel free to use them every day. It is about 3 inches tall with a 3 inch diameter mouth.

It holds about one liquid cup or 8 oz.
