Delicate and unusual earrings from my 'emerging' collection!

The stud earrings part can be worn with or without the dangling part, making these earrings supremely versatile!

These earrings are so elegant and light, you'll hardly notice you are wearing them. Each flower head is handcut from sheet silver that I have put through a rolling mill with sandpaper to give each one a subtle texture. Then each flower is domed and a small blob of gold soldered in it's centre. The earrings hang down approximately 1", 35mm.

I adore this lovebird ring! So sweet and simple....

I have customised this ring several times for customers, adding extra birds or more blossom. Obviously there is a small extra cost, so please let me know if you would like any extras and I will create a special listing for you.

As with most of my work, I start with a sheet of sterling silver that I put through a rolling mill with some vintage lace. This gives the delicate texture you can see on the bird's body. Each bird also has an 18k gold blob for it's eye and the blossom has a gold centre. The width of the band is approximately 3/16", 5mm.

These studs are so gorgeously simple you'll find they go with everything! Each flower head is handcut from sheet silver that I have put through a rolling mill with sandpaper to give each one a subtle texture. Then each flower is domed and a small blob of (recycled!) 18k gold soldered in it's centre. The earrings are approximately 3/16", 5mm wide.

Just lovebirds plain and simple! These earrings come in two sizes, and are so sweet and dainty they can be worn with just about anything!

lovebird hoop earrings

Another one from the collection!

These gorgeous hoops are approximately 1 1/4", 35mm in diameter. On each one sits a little jenny and two blossoms.

Jenny is cut from silver that has my vintage lace impressed on it and a little 18k gold eye, the blossoms are tiny domed circles, with dinky 18k gold blobs at their centre.

All pieces are individually made, to order only. Each one is slightly different - as you can see from the photos. If you prefer blossoms, or a butterfly you can let me know! Or Jenny facing the other way...or leave it up to me!

Though I try to make the piece within a few days of the order being placed, there can be a delay of up to a week before shipping. I will give you an idea of the length of time before shipping as soon as you place your order (or beforehand if you convo me).

A slightly new departure for me - my bird has escaped the confines of her cage, and found a round swing to play on!

As with most of my work, each piece is cut out of a sheet of silver that has been put through the rolling mill with vintage lace. This gives each part a delicate pattern, and makes every piece even more unique! At the centre of each butterfly and the eye of the bird is a silver blob.

The whole pendant is approximately 30mm/1 3/16" wide, and comes on an 16, 18 or 20" bobble chain.

Every item comes boxed in my own personalised box with velvet style pad.

sterling silver flower ring

This ring is part of a collection inspired by my research into yet more Victorian jewellery. It all started when I found some amazing pictures of jet mourning jewellery, and somehow, this bridal looking collection emerged!

As with much of my work, the sheet silver has been put through the rolling mill with lace to acquire it's delicate texture. I've then cut out three different sized flowers, and soldered them together, and added them to the very simple band. The largest flower is approx 1"/25mm in diameter. Band is made from 1.8mm silver wire.

All pieces are made to order, and take approximately 1 week from order to postage. Please let me know your ring size (US or UK) when ordering.

lonesome lovebird - sterling silver and 18K gold

Aw....just look her, all on her lonesome....

This little wren, unlike her big sisters on their bowers (listed elsewhere) sits on her branch, alone but for a piece of blossom. This little pendant is suspended from sterling silver chain attached by loops at either end of the branch. The branch is approximately 20mm long. The birds eye, and the centre of the blossom are blobs of 18k gold. The chain fastens with a sterling silver toggle clasp, and is about 18inches in length.

I start by putting the silver sheet through the rolling mill with some vintage lace. From the sheet I've cut out the bird and blossom. I've created the branch from 2mm wire, loving soldered them all together.

All my pieces are made to order, and each piece will differ slightly. Please allow approximately 2 weeks from order to shipment.

All my jewellery is sent in a smart black box with 'jemima lumley jewellery' embossed in silver on the lid.

lovebird silver necklace

Oh the whimsy! I just can't resist at the moment! Little lovebirds are appearing all over my jewellery just now!

This dainty little number is approx 40mm high, 15mm wide. The lovebird is cut from silver that has my vintage lace impressed on it and a little 18k gold eye, while the bower she sits on is flattened 2mm wire. The blossoms are tiny domed circles, with dinky 18k gold blobs at their centre. All in all, a stylish little pendant, though I say so myself!

The pendant is on an 18" bobble chain, though I can put it on a spiga or snake chain if you prefer. Also, if you would prefer 16 or 20" chain please convo me.

twisted vines necklace - sterling silver

A stunning necklace echoing Victorian mourning jewellery.

This piece is a new departure for me, but one that has been buzzing around my head for quite a while! How can I describe it? Twisted sterling silver wire weaves it's way around itself to form a sturdy structure, with large and small flowers dotted around the entire circumference. Each flower is handcut from sheet silver that has my vintage lace pattern impressed on to it's surface. Each flower has been domed to formed the cupped shape, and there are leaves added here and there.

It fastens by way of a simple loop at the front, just behind the largest flower. The silver can be be bent slightly to alter the shape without harming the necklace, as there is plenty of natural spring in the wire. Finished to a high shine to bring out the gorgeous textures, this is a really eye catching piece.

Every piece I make is unique. Every part is handcut from sheet or wire sterling silver, so each one is different.

the lovebird in the gilded cage pendant

Sigh....the poor lovebird has been caged again, but oh my, it is a wonderous cage!

This pendant has been buzzing around my head, and creeping into my dreams for months, so I just had to give in and make it. The pendant is a little over 2 inches/55mm in height, 1 and 1/4 inches/35mm wide. The swing is attached to the cage by a three jump rings, allowing it to swing freely.

The whole pendant has been hand cut from 0.7mm sheet silver, every edge has been filed and smoothed. The bobble chain is 18" longer, though you can choose to have 16" if you prefer.

A pretty sterling silver pendant.

One of two pieces inspired by a gorgeous piece of 1950's material I saw in a magazine.

A delicate and gorgeous necklace from my 'emerging' collection!

The construction of this necklace is based on the traditional daisy chain. To connect each flower I have soldered a tiny ring near the bottom of the 'stem' for the next flower to be threaded though. Each flower head is handcut from sheet silver that I have put through a rolling mill with sandpaper to give each one a subtle texture. Then each flower is domed and a small blob of gold soldered in it's centre. The necklace is approximately 15' long, and sits delicately around the neck on your collarbones - so gentle that you can hardly feel it's there!

A simple and delicate sterling silver torque.

One of two pieces inspired by a gorgeous piece of 1950's material I saw in a magazine.

Each flower is soldered sterling silver wire, whose stalk is soldered to silver tubing. Between each tube is a jump ring space, and the torque itself is 2mm silver wire. The ends are simply bashed, shaped and polished. It has been thoroughly tumble polished to give the torque spring, so it won't loose it's shape.

This started as a customer commission, but I liked it so much I made another! Here, two little jenny wrens watch patiently as one of their flock takes flight.

Inspired by one of my many pieces of antique lace, this flower pendant is a bit of a dazzler! Approximately 60mm/2 and 1/4", and cut from 0.8mm sheet silver, it is elegant and eye catching.

Before I cut the silver, I put it through the rolling mill with vintage lace, which gives you the gorgeous pattern. Based on the design of a stunning piece of Victorian lace I own, I have create this asymetrical design and lovingly cut out, and filed the shape until as near perfect as I can get it! Many hours are spent filing every nook and cranny. The chain is an 18" spiga style chain.

Leafing through a catalogue of Victorian jewellery, I came a cross a page of gorgeous lockets. This is my interpretation!

The pendant is approximately 50mm/1 1/2" high and is suspended on delicate trace chain. The whole necklace is 17" long, and fixes with a trigger clasp. All elements are sterling silver or 9k gold. The flowers and the bee are handcut from sterling silver sheet that I have put through my rolling mill with vintage lace or sandpaper to achieve the delicate patterns you can see.

sterling silver cuff

This is a one-off cuff in my new silver lace collection. It is approximately 140mm in circumference, and 50mm deep. The lace pattern is imprinted on the outside, and then I've enhanced the pattern using a small stamp to pick out the detail. The open edges of the cuff are curled back on themselves.

I take vintage lace and imprint it on to the silver wire or sheet using a rolling mill. From these I make various bangles, cuffs, rings, earrings and pendants. Each piece is utterly unique - you can never tell what will happen to the lace or the silver as it goes through the mill!

Every piece is made to commission, so there is a waiting time of approximately 2 weeks before I can ship. Each piece is also hallmarked to UK standards with my own hallmark and the 925 symbol, so you can be assured that it is sterling silver.

A labour of love if ever there was one!

This sterling silver cuff is approximately 3"/70mm wide and 6.5"/170mm circumference. Before I cut the silver, I put it through the rolling mill with vintage lace, which gives you the gorgeous pattern.
