These are a departure from my normal style - they are very colorful.

This dolly (I've been calling her Sassy, since she always assume fierce poses when I take her picture) has been painted with high-quality acrylic paints and sealed with a very durable satin varnish.

She is 8 1/2 inches tall, and has jointed arms and legs. She has a detailed shirt with mod flowers and butterflies, red and green striped stockings, black Maryjanes, and a red felt miniskirt.

She doesn't stand on her own, and isn't meant for kids or to be played with! I watched a lot of The Mary Tyler Moore show when I was making this doll so she's definitely inspired by that.

I have been selling dolls online for over five years, and my dolls have been photographed and seen in magazines. This is my first batch of new dolls in over eight months.

This doll has has been sculpted from polymer clay and painted with acrylics and varnished with a durable satin varnish. She is jointed at the shoulder and hip, so her arms and legs will move.

This doll is a bit retro inspired, she has a miniskirt and bright butterflies in her hair and on her bodice.

This auction is for one doll - the mushrooms and display box are not for sale. She has been sculpted out of polymer clay and painted, antiqued, antiqued again, lacquered all to make her look like old porcelain. She is jointed and can hold her arms up in the air. Her hat was hand sculpted just for her, painted and decorated with paint stitches. Her red underskirt is made from vintage calico.

My work has been seen in Hautedoll magazine! In a picture taken by the fabulous Milkeye.

She has been jointed simply and given hair made from two natural fibers so she has black hair with a big red streak (like Captain Ahab, but totally more fashionable).

This doll is 6" tall. She has been given a lot of pirate details - red eyes (she's bloodthirsty) a big hat with a fancy ribbon bow and a painted skull, two thready ribbons dangling from her hat, a detailed painted skull on her bodice, striped stockings. She has an extremely poofy skirt and two ribbons as a waist accent, as well.

Ahoy!

She has long black hair made from a very soft natural fiber, and she has a long braid cascading from her hat. She has an antique red bodice (and sleeves) with a detailed skull painted on it. She has a poofy skirt made of vintage tie fabric, striped legs, and decorated pirate boots.

I put a LOT of detail in my larger dolls, and you'll see detail everywhere here - I've done a very detailed face with green eyes and red mouth. I've painted a detailed skull on her bodice, two skulls on her hat as well as a ribbon badge, striped legs, a skull and crossed bones on her boots, and a wee bracelet around her leg.

She will have to sit in your doll case unless you get her a waist-cinch doll stand, but those are very inexpensive.

She is one of a small number cast in resin for me by amazing artist/sculptor Randy Lambert (You can see his art at www.lambertartworks.com)

She has been painted, and lightly antiqued. I've given her wool dreadlocks in a mixture of black, green and pale green, mostly just to see if I could, but I really like how her hair turned out. The dreadlocks were inspired by the work of my friend Libby who runs Exoskeleton Cabaret, which you can find here on Etsy (exoskeletoncabaret.etsy.com)

The dolly also has: painted striped stockings, painted skull bodice, a poofy skirt and lace skirt made with vintage lace, three necklaces (two hand-beaded, the other of silver wire) made from green glass beads.

Sweetly Antique but also spooky Doll

$45.00
This is a 5" doll handmade by me. She has a delicate eggshell crackle finish and curly hair, and is lightly blushed like an antique Victorian doll.

She is wearing a poofy skirt and even though she looks demure (and is wearing painted-on pearls) she has a skull on her bodice and racy striped stockings. So she is a mix of the old and the dark and spoookety.

1920s version of Alice in Wonderland Handmade Art Doll in blue white

$70.00
Alice in Wonderland is a big inspiration for me lately, so I've done a version of Alice. Here Alice is lost in Wonderland, you can see she bought a fancy skirt in a Wonderland store, with large embroidered flowers and gold beads.

Alice is about 5.5 inches tall. She is sculpted by hand, and jointed at the shoulders and hips. Alice should be displayed using a waist-cinch doll stand, but those are VERY easy to find and are very inexpensive.

Alice has an embroidered felt skirt with flowers and beads and a vintage cotton trim. She has striped stockings.

She has been hand-sculpted by me without the use of molds, from a polymer clay. She has been painted with acrylic paints and sealed with a satin varnish.

She has a detailed facial expression, blue eyes, and long, black hair that is from a very soft natural fiber. Her bodice is ornately painted with a skull and a design in white. Her skirt is made up of layers of ruffly lace, and her leggings are painted on in stripes.

Like all of my dolls, she has been jointed at the shoulders and hips so she can move her arms and legs.

This listing is for one doll. She has been hand-sculpted by me without the use of molds, from polymer clay. She has been painted with acrylic paints and sealed with a satin varnish. Like all of my dolls, she has been jointed at the shoulders and hips so she can move her arms and legs.

This particular doll has been painted black, with red and white accents. She has a red bodice with white flowers and yellow stems. She's very dramatic, and has a red felt skirt with hand embroidery at the edge, as well as a ribbon belt. Her red shoes are painted on.

I don't usually paint my dolls black, but I was mimicking the style of an antique Josephine Baker poster, where the colors were very exaggerated and bold.

This listing is for one doll.
