This gorgeous, new Italian sterling silver 0.7mm snake chain is a wonderful all-around addition to your jewelry collection. It is slinky and shiny on its own, and is strong enough to hold any pendant or pendants you'd like to hang on it!

It really shines at holding narrow tube bails or loose lampworked beads with the common 3/32" (2.5mm) bead hole - the dainty fold-over chain ends just slip right through. The lobster clasp is elegant, easy to use, and sturdy.

This chain is 18 inches long and will hang a finger-width below the collarbone (modified by your own body shape and size!). This is a great all-around size and the most popular length of chain I carry.

The chains are manufactured in Italy and shipped with a anti-tarnish coating. Please note that a small percentage of people (me included) are sensitive to this coating. I recommend giving your new chain a quick wash in dishsoap before wearing for the first time. Once the coating is washed off there is no problem, as long as you can normally wear sterling silver! I wear my own chain all the time and love it.

These lovely, bold leaves look fabulous on male and female necks of all ages. They have been individually shaped while molten in my torch, and fully annealed in my digitally-controlled firebrick kiln.

Your leaf will be made specifically for you in your choice of:

Transparent:
Red, Orange, Pale Blue, Cobalt Blue, Pale Amber, Medium Amber, Grass Green, Emerald Green, Turquoise, Electric Yellow, Pale Purple, Deep Purple, Gray, Clear.

OR

Opaque:
White, Black, Gray, Red, Orange, Yellow, Pale Green, Dark Green, Teal, Turquoise, Lapis Blue, Muted Violet, Ivory, Brown

With UP to TWO of the following decorations:

1 - Incised veining

2 - Lobes (oak)

3 - Base swirled with another colour

4 - Goldstone (sparkle) crushed glass frit (melted or raised)

5 - Any colour of crushed glass frit, melted or raised

6 - Raised clear frit "frost".

The leaf will be between 1.5 and 2 inches long, and .75 and 1.25 inches wide, and between 4 and 6mm thick. The loop is made off-mandrel and will accommodate a cord or chain up to approximately 3-4mm thick.

Your glass leaf will be annealed, carefully gift-packaged in a red organza bag and mailed to you, ready to be worm on any chain or cord! If you'd like the full package, we sell sterling snake chains that are a prefect compliment.

Please allow up to 4 weeks for US delivery - 1 week for custom creation and up to 3 weeks (hopefully less!) for cross-border delivery. Within Canada, allow up to 3 weeks.

Annealing will prevent spontaneous stress-fractures but be aware, your leaf is still glass and it can break if dropped or swung onto a hard surface.

MAPLE LEAF glass pendant custom lampworked for you in green, yellow, amber, purple or red

This is a new design for me that I'm super-excited about, and what better day to release it than Canada Day?

Of course it doesn't have to be July 1st and you don't even have to be Canadian to enjoy this beautiful leaf. The maple is a truly stunning tree - strong and shady in summer, bright and vibrant in autumn, elegant and stately in winter, and of course, gushing with sweet sap in spring!
I have fond memories of growing up in Western Quebec surrounded by birch, maple, pine, spruce, and eastern cedar. My mother taught me to lick ice off maple tree bark in March. It's delicious!

I made this leaf myself on my lampworking torch in my Winnipeg studio after some trial and error. The one pictured is a blend of transparent spring green and electric yellow, with some mixed green opaque frit.

When you order this leaf, please specify your own colour combination - dark or light green, pale or dark amber, red, purple, orange, yellow - in transparent or opaque colours! I can mix two colours together as well - though bear in mind that green and red will be blackish brown where they overlap. You can also choose your colour of frit, or none. I can even add raised clear frit for a frosted look!

Sizes and exact shaping will vary somewhat as I am custom shaping each leaf by hand from a molten glob of glass. No presses are used, so your leaf will be as unique as a real leaf... but more conveniently designed for wearing on your neck or hanging in a window. The loop hole is about 3mm wide and will accommodate almost any chain or cord.

Please allow 1 week before shipping and 2-3 weeks for shipping to the US.
