A family watches out for each other.

I painted this painting for my 11 year old brother while he was at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, suffering from severe ulcerative colitis. It was a visual reminder of his family that loved him and protected him from whatever bad was happening. He has since recovered enough to go home, and is no longer suffering any of the symptoms of the disease! It will hopefully stay in remission for a long time.

This listing is for one bird pendant sold without a necklace (about 1 1/2" tall). This image is taken from my original illustration called Support System.

The image is a high quality giclee print (printed with archival pigment inks onto premium matte photo paper) which is affixed to an antiqued metal filigree pendant, and finished with a glossy top coat.

My camera had a bit of trouble capturing the image behind the top coat, but rest assured the image is not blurry on the actual pendant. Please see the last image to get a better idea of what the print really looks like.

The top coat is meant to protect the image, however please refrain from scrubbing, scratching, or wearing the pendant while swimming or bathing.
