This is a women's hat from my own original pattern, sewn from faux-suede black fabric with an embroidered floral pattern. The flowers are in shades of wine and mauve, with pale green vines. It is fully lined and has a reinforced brim. These hats are designed to travel well, too. The hat can be flattened for transport, or flattened and then rolled. It looks great on its own, or you can change the look by tying a scarf around it as shown.

This hat is size small, and will fit a head size of about 21 to 21-1/2". It is available with either the green or burgundy scarf shown (which can also help adjust the hat to a slightly smaller head size).

I created this bead from stoneware clay, which has been glazed and raku fired. It is glazed in shades of metallic green with iridescent overtones, with a fern design embossed into the clay. This signed pendant has an image taken from one of my original acrylic paintings, showing a cottontail rabbit surrounded by wild phlox. The sides are handpainted in professional artists acrylics, with a matching flower design in purple on green. The pendant is lightweight (the base is an upcycled wooden scrabble tile), and has been sealed with a durable acrylic varnish. The pendant comes with a black satin cord free of charge, but it would also look lovely on a chain.

The pendant (not counting the silver plated bail) measures approximately 3/4" in length, and just under 3/16" thick.

This is a limited edition giclee print on canvas, done from one of my paintings depicting a pair of trumpeter swans that I saw while on a canoe trip. The painting was inspired by the works of the French impressionists, especially Monet. I loved the way the sunlight made a play of colors on the water around the swans, and wanted to capture that in a painting.. The giclee has been professionally created using the finest archival materials to protect your investment. It comes framed in a wood frame with a gold fillet, so it arrives ready to hang on the wall.

WHAT DOES "GICLEE" MEAN?
Giclees are a means of producing reproductions of a painting which come as close as possible to capturing the color and detail of the original. This wearable flute is made from stoneware clay, and has been decorated with handpainted vine motifs done in dinnerware glazes. The glaze colors include green and purple, with a clear glaze overall. It plays just over an octave, and is well suited to playing Celtic and classical music. It comes with basic instructions.

This is a women's hat from my own original pattern, sewn from heavy purple and wine colored woolen fabric. It is fully lined and has a reinforced brim. These hats are designed to travel well, too. The hat can be flattened for transport, or flattened and then rolled. It looks great on its own, or you can change the look by tying a scarf around it as shown.

This hat will fit a head size of about 21-1/2 to 24". It comes with the flowered scarf shown in the first pic (which can help adjust the hat to fit your head size). The third pic is to show how it looks with a different color. This one is not included with the hat.

This is a handwoven scarf with nubbly texture, in earth tones and grays, made from wonderfully soft textured and boucle yarns which are a blend of wool, cotton, acrylic, and mohair. I wove this on my 60 year old 4-harness Leclerc floor loom. This would make a wonderful gift for that special guy or gal who loves textured earth tones. The scarf is 11" wide and just under 5 feet (about 58") long including fringe. It also makes a comfy head wrap or stole. Handwashable.

This meditation flute is handmade from stoneware clay, and has been raku fired for an earthy, mystical feel. It is adorned with embossed decoration, scribed into the clay before firing. The glaze colors range from metallic blue with a hint of silver to opalescent pale blue-green. The beading includes two raku beads, made to match the flute, so it is also a unique piece of jewelry. The flute is ideal for playing as a form of meditation or just for one's own enjoyment, and would be a wonderful addition to a collection of unique musical instruments. It plays just over an octave, and is well suited to playing music in a drumming circle.

The fabric has been pre-washed and dried in the dryer to avoid shrinkage. Each measures about 5" long and will fit most standard skillet handles. These are especially great for people who love to cook in cast iron. This set has cheerful pattern of daffodils, and are edged in forest green (they are not as dark as they look in the photo). Machine washable.

Retro Flower Pendant

This signed pendant has a retro flower print design, with handpainted accents done in acrylics on an upcycled wooden scrabble tile. It has been sealed with a durable non-yellowing acrylic varnish. The pendant comes with a knotted satin cord free of charge, but it would also look great as the focal point in a beaded necklace.

The pendant (not counting the silver plated bail) measures approximately 3/4" (18 mm) in length, and just under 3/16" (5 mm) thick.

About this piece...
This set of three paintings features a flowing plant motif in shades of purple with gold accents, on a background of earthy goldenrod. It was inspired by the designs found in the borders of French and Italian manuscripts from the middle ages. This set would look lovely framed together, or each piece could be displayed separately. This is a set of 3 signed originals, not prints, which have been created using professional artists acrylics on archival board and sealed with a protective varnish. Each one has been painted purple around the edges, so they may be displayed without the need to cover part of the painting.

Majolica Folk Art Bird Flute

This little flute (ocarina) is handmade from white stoneware clay, which has been fired to about 2300 degrees. It is decorated with designs inspired by 12th century Italian and Persian pottery, done in lead-free dinnerware glazes in purple, green, and black. The flute is ideal for playing as a form of meditation or just for one's own enjoyment, and would be a wonderful addition to a collection of folk art. It plays just over an octave, and is well suited to playing music in a drumming circle. It comes with a fingering chart and basic instructions.
