Let your inner nerd shine!

Behold, a genuine piece of agatized dinosaur bone sits directly under a genuine chunk of hexagonal meteorite! It's a visual representation in jewelry form of what happened 65 million years ago with a meteorite coming down upon the dinos, complete with what I like to refer to as sterling silver "impact swirlies".

The dino bone is a freeform cabochon, slightly asymmetrical but visually balanced. It is mainly a deep earthy brown in color, with hints of reds and yellows throughout. The pattern you see on the stone results from the actual structure of the bone, when the agate formed inside the cell-like spaces.

The meteorite is a little chunk from the Nantan meteorite which landed in China in the 1500s. It is mainly comprised of iron, and still retains its natural features -- this little piece actually formed in a closely hexagonal shape, it was NOT cut to be that way!

The pendant features a large, soldered bail, to allow for thicker chains or even some beaded necklaces to be worn with the piece.

The piece is made with Argentium sterling silver, which is just as pure as regular sterling silver but tarnishes much less.

Comes on a basic black rubber cord with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp, ready to wear straight out of the box.

Totally unique, completely one of a kind, and artisan quality pendant. The back of this wearable art piece is signed and dated.

All the cool kids like Narwhals. They're the unicorns of the sea!

Narwhals are whales with a single long horn. There's some variation to 'em but that's more or less the story. And yes, yes they DO exist. Trust me. Wikipedia says so.

Pendant is sterling silver, hand sawn from a doodle of a Narwhal drawn by yours truly. One side of the Narwhal is polished, the other side features a brushed texture, making this pendant reversible depending on just how much shiny you're in the mood for.

Your Narwhal will be approximately an inch and a half long, which is considerably smaller than a real Narwhal. Each is cut out by hand so there will be very minute variations from one to the next. Each pendant is hardened to make the metal less likely to bend.

For a splash of sparkle and color, a 2.5mm natural tanzanite is bezel set straight into the fossil to complete the piece. I think this ring came out looking rather elegantly vintage.

Mitosis is the process through which a cell divides itself in half. In this speciman, we note the presence of two nucleous-like structures, seemingly caught midway through division.

The structure seen here consists of lead-free glass enamel layered upon a copper disk. Recently discovered by your humble metallurgist (me) and never to be seen again.

This is Cellular Speciman #RE63. A little known organic biomolecule, it consists of lead-free glass enamel layered upon a copper disk. Recently discovered by your humble metallurgist (me) and never to be seen again.

Ever wonder why they spell it "blue" instead of the much-cuter-looking "bloo"?

Anyway -- I now ask my audience to turn their collective attentions to my latest discovery, the Bloo Nucleus. As seen in this oddly biomolecular piece consisting of multiple layers of lead-free glass enamel atop copper, the Bloo Nucleus of the cell is surrounded by varying shades of robin's egg and dark purplish coloring of the cytoplasm.

The result?

Adorability. Total uniqueness. And extraneous use of big scientificish words.

This is a very wee ring, fit for stacking or being worn by itself for just a dainty dash of color! Looks adorable on any finger. Made of Argentium sterling silver, it features a 3mm faceted stone set in a half-round band just ever so slightly thinner than the stone. Available in any size, from baby's keepsake sizes all the way up.

Upcycled Silver Fork Pendant with Australian Opal

Everyone's heard of silver spoon jewelry. But what about the poor forgotten forks?

This pendant is made from an old, beat-up and battered but pure sterling silver dinner fork. The dirt and grime has been meticulously polished off its surface, making even the imperfections from years of careless use look shiny and new.

To complete its forky makeover, I bezel set a gorgeous natural blue Australian opal doublet into the part above where the pointy food-stabby things (tines?) used to be, and added five genuine blue topazes in ascending shades of blue to compliment the opal and add some sparkle. The handle of the fork features a gorgeous Art Nouveau swirly pattern, and maintains its graceful curve so that the whole piece takes on a three-dimensional quality.

It's so upcycled, your friends won't even realize it used to be flatware.

Completely one of a kind.

Here's a piece for those who enjoy a more rustic, ultra-handmade looking ring! The angles aren't perfect, there's hammer marks just willy-nilly, the small band is super shiny while the main band has been polished just to a matte shine... and it all combines to make something beautiful.
