Mabe Maze Pendant - Brass Smooth

A mix of brass, silver and a suspended mabe pearl create an interesting and modern mix.

A ring of hand sawed, filed, drilled and finished solid brass creates the frame. Tarnish resistant Argentium sterling silver wire create the "maze" of wire which holds the pearl. The colorized pearl is called a mabe or a blister pearl. The golden color is luminescent and sparkles beautifully from within the maze. It is hung from a 30" silk cord.

The brass is not sealed, so it will eventually acquire a pleasing tarnished appearance.

More about the wire:

Argentium silver is highly tarnish resistant! It won't blacken like regular sterling silver. It make acquire a golden color over time, but you don't need a special cloth to clean. Just wash with a little soap and water!

Wonderfully tarnish resistant Argentium Sterling Silver carefully cut and shaped into a one inch disc, then hand hammered to a pleasing texture.

This would go well with any of my hand hammered earrings.

Metal is 24 gauge Argentium Sterling Silver, which is highly tarnish resistant. Pendant is hung from a 30 inch knotted silk cord, which could easily be shortened.

Ah, the warm beauty of copper. These are hand cut, filed and hammered and hammered and hammered to a pleasing finish. :-)

I've hung them from solid Sterling Silver earwires. Matching pendants available upon custom request.

Note that the metal is *not* sealed and will naturally patina. It would be easy enough to use any tarnish remover to maintain their shiny state.

Solid Argentium Sterling Silver discs are lightly brushed in appearance and sit atop solid sterling earwires. Elegant simplicity. Modern and clean, yet classic.

I cut these from solid sterling silver sheet metal, filing, drilling, sanding and finishing.

Discs measure 1/2 inch across. Metal is 24 gauge.

These are one of my most popular items. They can be both casual or dressy. They are the Medium version. I also have a small version listed in my shop. Funny but there's no large version. ;-)

Ah, the warm beauty of copper. These are hand cut, filed and final finish brushed to a pleasing finish.

I've hung them from solid Sterling Silver earwires. These would go well with my Reversible Circles Pendant.

Note that the metal is *not* sealed and will naturally patina. It would be easy enough to use any tarnish remover to maintain their shiny state.

These are a smaller version of one of my most popular sellers. I made a requested set and decided to offer them in my store.

Discs are made from Argentium Sterling Silver. Earwires are solid Sterling Silver. I like the little "ball" detail of these earwires.

You choose the look!
Until I get more specific Mazes listed, you can decide exactly how you'd like it to appear.

Choices:
1) Solid Brass, Copper or Aluminum
2) Smooth, Brushed appearance or hammered. Hammered is a $3.00 extra charge.
3) Color of Mabe Pearl. Blue, Purple, Gold, Green, Pink. The colors are those in the *first* pic.
4) The wire will always be Argentium Sterling Silver. Due to its tarnish resistant nature, it is best for this design.

All solid metal hand sawed, filed and finished. Hand pierced and drilled. Hung from a 30" satin cord, easily knotted to a different length. Note that the metal is not sealed and will naturally patina. Each Mabe Pearl is a natural, organic object and may look different from those pictured. Each wire job differs dependent upon the natural shape of the mabe pearl.

The first picture is of the materials. The subsequent pictures are of previous Mabe Mazes completed.

Reversible Circles Pendant - Copper and Aluminum

My work with developing a healing circle inspired this pendant. Three parts combine into one: protective, nurturing and spiritual.

Copper and aluminum alternating circles create this reversible pendant. One side is copper dominant, the other aluminum dominant. Copper rivets hold the shapes together in a non-heat method called cold connect.

The pendant is an inch wide and is strung upon a 30" knotted black leather cord.

It begins as sheet metal and wire. The metal is hand cut, filed, carefully arranged, marked and drilled. Copper wire is measure and hand sawed for the rivets. The rivets are hand hammered to hold all pieces together. Note that this metal is not sealed on purpose and will tarnish over time as it gathers up the essence of you. :-)

These were some fun finds. Tasty looking apple coral square play upon hand shaped earwires. I flat hammered the wire for strength and effect.

Paradiddle - Brushed Silver Domes - Earrings

Doming allows these earrings to reflect the light from any direction. Brushed finish causes this reflection to be bright, but subtle. Beautiful!

I start with solid Argentium Sterling Silver, that is tarnish resistant. I cut circles, drill the hole, file, sand and finish. Then I dome them. One last touch up on the finish and they're ready to highlight your ears and neck.

The earwires are solid sterling silver. Great quality materials.

These will last you for years, always be in style and go with so many combinations!

Disc are cut to 5/8 inch. See the final photo for dimensions.

Hammered Dangles - Solid Sterling Silver

Please the crowd! One hammered disc dangles playfully from another. They both hang from a solid sterling silver wire. A little more length and dance than my single discs.

Metal is cut from 24 gauge solid sterling silver sheet metal then hand drilled and hand hammered to a pleasing texture. Each disc is 1/2 inch wide. Nearly 1 1/2 inches long.
