Dragonfruit, otherwise known as Pitaya, pitahaya, huo long guo, strawberry pear, nanettikafruit or thanh long, is native to Mexico and Central and South America. They can also be found in countries such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Okinawa, Israel and southern China.

The cut fruit can be used as a pincushion. This set will be a great conversation piece when displayed on the dining table or in the kitchen.

Pizza, anyone ??? Do you want to have a slice of the super thin crust Pizza with lots and lots of delicious toppings - pepperoni, green pepper, onion, pineapple, olive, fresh mushrooms, melted cheese and a good sprinkling of chilli flakes. One bite and you will be coming back for more :)

Steamed Pork bun or "baozi" is a bread-like bun filled with pork and mushrooms.

Steamed Pork with Shrimp Dumpling aka "siu mai" has a soft outer layer which is made of wheat flour and it is filled with ground pork and minced shrimp. The "orange dot" is roe or diced carrot.

This cute apple cozy is very easy to crochet. Make for yourself or gift to friends and loved ones :)

This cozy will fit an apple with diameter of about 2.6 inches/6.6cm at its broadest part. The two green ties will hold a smaller apple securely inside. I've made the ties to knot once only for convenience of taking out the apple. However, I've included instructions to increase the length of the ties if you prefer to knot them twice. Also, there is some stretch in the design and hence it can accomodate a bigger apple too!

Crochet Slippers Pattern - Variegated Pink with Green

Keep your feet warm with this lovely crocheted house slippers. The finished slippers fit a US Women's Shoe size 5. It measures about 8.5 inches/21.59 cm from toe to heel and since there is some stretch in the yarn and design, it can fit up to foot length of 9 inches/22.86 cm.

This pattern can be easily improvised to increase the slipper's length for a bigger fit. The instructions are included in the pattern.

For this project, I used a cotton-acrylic blend yarn and the ribbon ties are 1/8 inch/0.32 cm wide.

I have included a Shoe Size Conversion Chart at the end of the tutorial for your reference.

I was inspired to crochet this scrubber after looking at some lovely fabric yoyos :) One side is gathered like a yoyo and the other side is flat and smooth. It is made like a mitt and comes with a hanging loop.

This is a very easy project and is great for beginner crocheters!

You can use this scrubber as a body scrub or for scrubbing any household items such as dishes, walls, sinks, bathtubs, etc.

The diameter of the scrubber is 4.2 inches/10.7cm and it measures 0.9 inches/2.3cm at its thickest part. **********************************************

Keep your feet warm with this lovely crocheted house slippers. This design is roomy and comfy. The finished slippers fit a US Women's Shoe size 5. It measures about 8.5 inches/21.59 cm from toe to heel and it can fit up to foot length of 9 inches/22.86 cm.

This pattern can be easily improvised to increase the slipper's length for a bigger fit. The instructions are included in the pattern.

Dragonfruit Scrubber Tawashi

Cleaning chores need not be tedious and boring anymore with this dragonfruit slice scrubber. Crocheted with acrylic yarn, this tawashi can remove grime on dishes, cups, cutlery, bathtub, floorings, walls, furniture and anything you can think of. Can be used dry (especially good at picking up furs and hair) or wet with detergent.

If you know basic crocheting skills like slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, working in the rounds, working in rows, etc, then this pattern is for you :)

For sale is one PATTERN in PDF format of A Little Novice with his Halloween Pumpkin. This pattern consists of 12 pages. It comes with many pictures detailing the toy crocheted at different stages.

I've stuffed the crocheted item with polyfill. The acrylic yarn I used is 18 wraps per inch and hence is categorised under 'fine' yarn. Wraps per inch (or WPI) is a measure of the grist or the thickness of a yarn.
