This is not hand dyed spun or otherwise but I received it as a gift, brand new and the color is NOT good on my skin tone. I have 4 balls and would like to sell them together. THe color is a pretty light green and it is represented on the label as shade 4, lot 264550. It is incredibly soft and there are a total of 508 yards. The guage is 22sts and 28 rows on US 6 or Crochet hook F. The contents are 75% Extra Fine Marino 20% silk and 5% Cashmere. I am sure this would be gorgeous on someone, just not me. This yarn sells in stores for $10.00 per ball. I will let it go and add free shipping for $30.00. I am saving up for some sweater yarn I want.
