If you are an avid needle felter, just a beginner, or somewhere in between, my pile of wool is ideal for you. It is also wonderful for doing a little needle felted surface design or adding into your spinning mix or wet felted creations.

You will receive a little over 2 ounces of wool in 12 different colors as seen in the last photo. There will be approximate equal amounts of each color. This fine wool is very soft but also from a slightly shorter-haired sheep breed making it ideal for needle felting. I personally use it often for all types of felting purposes.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I have been a feltmaker for many years now and am happy to help spread the love of fiber arts to others!

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at needle felting? If so, this is the kit for you. It is small and inexpensive, but has just what you need to get started. It is a great size for those who want to get a feel for needle felting or just want to do some simple surface design.

This small basic kit contains approximately one half ounce (0.5 oz.) of wool roving in a variety of 4 different colors. The kit also contains one medium gauge felting needle with plastic cover. There are basic instructions as well as a list of online resources provided on a laminated information sheet. It all comes in a paper favor box (measuring approximately 2 inches X 3 inches). You will need to purchase a piece of pillow or craft foam to use as a base pad, but this can easily be found at any local craft store or online.

If you have wool color preferences, see the last photo for available colors. Please put your color choices (4 total) in the message to seller at checkout. Otherwise, I'll choose a very pretty mix of colors for you.

This basic kit contains over 1.5 ounces of wool roving in a variety of 8 different colors. The kit also contains two medium gauge felting needles with plastic covers. There are basic instructions as well as a list of online resources provided on a laminated information sheet. It all comes in a handmade clear vinyl pouch (measuring approximately 8 inches X 7 inches) with convenient Velcro closure for use over and over again. You will need to purchase a piece of pillow or craft foam to use as a base pad, but this can easily be found at any local craft store or online.

If you have wool color preferences, see the last photo for available colors. Please put your color choices (8 total) in the message to seller at checkout. Otherwise, I'll choose a very pretty mix of colors for you.

This handbag was created through a combination of traditional wet felting and needle felting. (Please see my profile for more details about the creation process.) It is an open top bag (no snap closure) with a double strap. Although it has no lining, the purse is very thick and durable as well as super soft. It was made with 100% merino wool in shades of medium blue, brown, and tan. The opening is 9 inches (22 cm) deep by 13 inches (33 cm) wide for plenty of room to put your wallet, cell phone, journal, and more. The strap length is 9 inches (22 cm) which is ideal to tuck away under your arm.

This is a one-of-a-kind item that I couldn't duplicate exactly even if I tried due to the nature of its creation. The purse in the photo is the exact one that you'll receive.

A bright, cheerful crown and wand for that special little princess in your life. It is also reversible so that she can pick whether she feels like orange or hot pink to wear.

I created this set from craft felt, embroidery thread, and ribbon. The crown measures 11 inches wide by 4.5 inches tall with a yellow ribbon on each side to tie closed. The star shape finger wand is made to fit on the end of a child's finger and measures 5 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide. It is reversible with hot pink/yellow on one side and orange/yellow on the other.

This one-of-a-kind scarf was hand felted and hand dyed. It is 100% fine merino wool for extra softness and comfort. It measures approximately 55 inches long (1.4 meter) which is a very nice length for one wrap around the neck or a front tie. It is approximately 5 inches (13 cm) wide. It was hand dyed in dark olive green and a golden yellow tan to produce the circle and stripe patterning. The edges are naturally a bit wavy. The scarf in the photo is the exact scarf that you'll receive.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE TECHNIQUE . . .
This scarf was made through the ancient art form of traditional wet felting. It is a non-woven technique that merges raw wool fibers to form a solid material called felt. With hot water, soap, agitation, skill, and patience, I hand form each scarf one at a time. My wet felted scarves are all made from scratch like all my other items. Although color schemes may be similar, each scarf is a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art that I could not duplicate exactly even if I tried. That is the beauty of it all and why I love to make these scarves.

SOME SIMPLE CARE INSTRUCTIONS . . .
Gently hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. (Do not put in the dryer or apply heat.)

My nuno scarves are individually hand felted with the best quality wool and finest silk. They are made through the nuno or laminated felting technique which involves joining wool with a fabric base. The combination of wool and silk make for a lightweight, comfortable scarf that is suitable for almost any time of year. With the proper care, this scarf will last through many, many fashion seasons as a timeless classic.

This scarf is approximately 50% merino wool and 50% silk. It measures approximately 52 inches long (1.3 meters) including the fringe which is a very nice length for one wrap around the neck or a front tie. Its main colors include a deep olive green base with some cream, rusty brown, forest green, and gold tones.
