"Beach Baby Papoose " has been Lovingly knit for you from the colors of the beach and the dunes....baby blue, teal, turquoise, blue, aqua, ivory, white, tan, green, olive etc -yarn HANDSPUN BY ME, multiple fiber combo -includes wool/fleece, cotton, and possibly bits of metallic fibre, fabric, cotton, acrylic, lace etc, Lovely, thick and thin and very nubbly. Stretches nicely, fingers and toes can poke out through the soft knit and you'll be able to see baby's skin thu knit. Knit to form hood around baby's wee head, like a papoose. Roll brim back to form collar to cuddle around head or under arms.

I have always been fascinated with Gypsies, or I should say by "my" romantic idea of gypsies in days gone by.... This piece represents the romanticized portrait I paint for my imagination of wild, dark, beautiful gypsy women decked in bright florals and shiny, rich looking jewelry, dancing and twirling around a roaring campfire under the stars, their skirts and long flowing, curly, dark tresses swishing, and their colorful, rich looking jewelry sparkling and swaying....sigh......

"Las Vegas Glitter" is one skein of handspun attitude looking for that special project- for knitting, crocheting, weaving, scrapbooking, quilting, etc etc....

Main fiber is spun from black wool and multicolored strand batt by fabulous "loop".
To the batt I added more bits, chunks, strands, and gobs of silk, bamboo, metallics, rayon, acrylic yarn strands, cotton etc etc. This first completed yarn was then plied with black cotton spun with silver metallic thread.

This combination makes for a soft, textured, brightly coloured thick and thin, shiny, glittery, funky art yarn.

Skein total yardage is approximately 35 yards, weight about 3 oz.

Lovingly knit from quality yummy mixed fibers. Lovely - nicely textured and soft enough for baby but strong enough to hang and shows off baby skin. Stretches nicely, fingers and toes can poke out through the soft knit. Lay baby down and stretch/wrap around baby's head to form hood. Hang just above or just touching surface, or lay down and appear to hang. Display like hammock, sling, wrap like cocoon, or egg, or nest. Wrap around and tie like a bow in front! You get at least 6 looks with this wrap!!

Gently handwash mild cool soapy water, rinse gently cool water, squeeze don't wring, lay flat on towels to dry, block if needed. Do not machine wash or dry.

Fits baby, newborn comfortably.
