Non-tarnish silver-plated wire is woven to form the nest shape and three ivory glass pearl "eggs" are nestled safely within. A large, decorative bail allows this pendant to be strung on any chain or cord of your choice. (Not included.) Glass pearls are man-made and thus vegetarian and vegan friendly as no animals are harmed in their making.

It's a very feminine and unique piece. Something easily worn with any attire and yet a real conversation piece. Because each one is unique, no two would ever look exactly alike.

Please note, this particular bird nest is a little larger and "chunkier" than my previous offerings. It's a little more solid and substantial in style. If you wanted something a little less dainty, this one would be a perfect choice.

A unique, dark metallic bronze wire is woven to form the nest shape and three freshwater pearl "eggs" in the color "Peacock" are nestled safely within. This color is almost impossible to photograph due to it's pearlescence and ranges of color. (See third photo for better color representation of the pearls.) This shape of freshwater pearl is called "rice" due to it's slightly elongated, oval shape.

The total length of the bail and pendant is around 1.25" (See second photo for reference to US Quarter.) This pendant feature a large, decorative bail suitable for any chain or cord you wish to wear it with. (Chain NOT included.)

One-of-a-kind Handmade Dollhouse Miniature Spooky Magic Supply Halloween Hutch In Black and Orange

I started working in miniatures in 2007. I created the first magical supply hutch as a gift for a friend. I wanted something faerie (fairy) sized; something that perhaps might be found in the little forest cottage where she lived. This one has been themed with a spooky/Halloween/Witch kind of style. The hutch is hand painted in Black and Jack-o-Lantern Orange. Then I go to town creating all sorts of unique items to fill the shelves. It's very particular, precise work and it takes many, many hours to complete a single hutch.

This is in the on-going Spooky themed hutch since I've had requests for more every time the previous ones sell out.

Close-up detail shows off some of the amazingly intricate details. A pile of skulls rests in autumn moss on the top while a rat hides on the top shelf, a moon-and-stars pot grows some arcane plant. Also potion bottles, a crystal ball to a bottle labeled, "sands of time."

On the middle shelf one finds the most amazing collection of spell and potion bottles plus a disk with Asian symbols, a candle and a pumpkin. The bottom shelf has magic spell books, a candle, a silver plate and chalice, a potion bottle and a creepy skull. (It looks eerily human!)

On the side one can see the witch has propped her broom against the cabinet between midnight, moonlight flights.

This spooky hutch would be perfect for anyone who wants a mystical touch for their dollhouse, or who wants a little fun with their Halloween decoration. It's also a neat conversation piece to have out on display year-round. It measures around 7.5" in height at it's tallest point, 4" width and about 1.25" in width and is in 1:12 scale. The piece is hand signed on the bottom by the artist. (Me!) I absolutely love all the great details in this one!

This pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques. Permanently colored navy blue wire frames and encircles the pendant, and is then used as the roots, trunk and branches of the tree. Glass pearls in two colors and sizes are used as the "leaves" of the piece, in tones of stark white and champagne. It is a very three-dimensional piece that rises up off it's square frame and really brings depth and beauty to the pendant.

Each pendant is fully hand crafted and thus one-of-a-kind. No two are alike. The pendant is 1.5" x 1.5" not including bail.

The Tree of Life is a concept that's been featured in myth, story and legend literally all around the world. Since ancient times, people have used variations on the theme. This pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques on an extremely miniature scale! Silver wire forms the outer circle and non-tarnish copper wire is used as the roots, trunk and branches of the tree. The "leaves" are made from genuine amethyst gemstone chips. Amethyst derives it's name from a Greek word meaning "without drunkenness" because it was believed to protect the wearer from poisons. Amethyst is a semi-precious gemstone and is a very powerful stone being used for insomnia, protection, wisdom and healing. Amethyst is also traditionally associated with royalty and people of great wealth. It is the birthstone of February.

Comes complete with the black cord to use on your cell phone as a phone charm, or on a backpack, purse or zipper pull.
