Here's a very versatile set of cotton cloths. Plain and simple but so very handy to have around.

The 1st cloth is another of my simple diagonally knit cloths approximately 6 inches square, knit in garter stitch.

The 2nd cloth can be used as a mug mat or for those cleaning jobs that require a slightly smaller cloth. It is approximately 4 inches square and knit in garter stitch.

The yarn for this set is one of my favorite ombre colors and reminds me of softly faded vintage pastel colors. Warm and soft and oh so pleasant for tackling all your cleaning needs.

All my cloths are knit in a smoke-free home. I do have pets, but all possible care is taken to keep knits and pets as far away from each other as possible.

Royal Treatment Cotton Scrubbie

Soft shades of lavender, blue, green and white make you feel like royalty. After all the color purple has always been the color of royalty throughout history.

A cotton scrubby is so much nicer for washing your face than a loofah or scrub brush, especially for those with more sensitive skin or for using on babies or children. It has all the exfoliating properties but is much less harsh.

The scrubby is approximately 2.5 inches across. Please note that the item listed is ONLY the Scrubby, the cloth and mitt are listed separately.

I am using another one of these for myself and even after daily use for many months the yarn has softened nicely and faded only slightly with use. They just get better with age, and should last for alot longer.

The cotton yarn in this mitt is strong yet soft and will only get softer and more comfortable with use. It is machine-washable and dry-able. There may be shrinkage the first time or two you wash it, but that should be minimal. Because it is knit, you might want to wash it in a gentler wash cycle but no special care is really needed.

A delicate and dainty combination of charcoal gray, spring green and pearly beads make for a sophisticated and feminine pair of earrings.

Under a wire-wrapped loop dangle a hematite tube bead, a silver glass pearl and a faceted periodot green glass bead on a sterling silver head pin with a decorative *finial* bottom. These earrings currently hang from french ear wires but can be put on the earring findings of your choice at no additional charge. Just let me know the findings you want, even clip earrings.

The earrings dangle approximately 1 inch from the top of the wrapped loop to the bottom of the headpin finial, with the ear wires adding approx 3/4 inch to that. Changing earring findings may change the overall length of the earrings.

History of the Baldwin Queen Anne Cottage in the Arboretum of Los Angeles County:

Built in 1885-1886 by Elias Baldwin for his fourth wife, 16 year old Lillie Bennet, it was designed by the bride's father, architect Albert A. Bennett. Unfortunately Lillie did not get to enjoy her honeymoon present as she and Elias separated in 1885 before the house was completed.

The Queen Anne Cottage is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

I took the original digital photograph using a Nikon D70. I used a series of photographs of places of interest and beauty in the Southern California area to teach myself not only digital photography but Photoshop as well. Basically it was always - Gee, I wonder what would happen if I did...? This is the Queen Anne house already listed, but a different series of filters and other processes were applied in this case for a different look.

If you would like to have a bib without cute or cuddly or sweet, without the dancing bears and smiling suns - this bib is for YOU and your young gentleman.

A simple, sophisticated bib in a green, brown and cream ombre will show the world what a fine young man you have. 100% cotton bib is knit in garter stitch with a ribbed border at the neck to keep it in place under the gentleman's chin. There are no buttons or velcro or any other fastening on the strap. The ends are knit together at an angle so you can get it on and off your young man easily. The cotton yarn can be washed and dried with all his other cloths and demands no special care.

While this is my 1st knit bib, I have been knitting cloths for ages. I have my own collection I use regularly and they seemed destined to last forever! If one of my cloths can stand up to cleaning me, my craft room or my bath room, I think it can stand up to any mess your fine young man might throw at it and still look great.

Much like the knit cleaning cloths, the bib will become softer and more absorbent with frequent use. There may be some small percentage of shrinkage after the 1st wash and the colors will soften some with washing but this bib will look good for a long time to come.
