The inconsistency of shape and sizes is the theme for this bracelet. Jump rings are fused Argentium Silver with copper and silver cups full of resin color, from red to black, aqua, lavender, blue and a rusty auburn color and a few tiny ruby rondelles. This ocean jasper is 5/8" by 6/8" with mellow orbs of greens, yellows, pinks and a bit of lavender in the mix.
It's set in fine silver with a sterling silver patterned band. I did remember to add my signature stamp on the back. Size 7 1/4.

Mystical Qualities of Ocean Jasper: This stone is said to help with one's emotional life. Its colors relate to the solar plexus, said to be a storehouse for emotions. Holding the stone is like holding on to an anchor, a safe haven, while allowing deeply buried feelings to well up like a rising sea. It is said that the Jasper helps these feelings to be released in a way that allows one to process them calmly, without drowning in them. For those who don't need such emotional work, ocean jasper is said to offer a soothing, grounding effect helpful in dealing with change.

Ocean Jasper is a rare mineral, mined in only one place in the world, the Mine of Marovato, on the Ambolobozo Peninsula in the the north west corner of Madagascar. Is called Ocean Jasper because the deposits are part of the coastline, and can only be reached by boat, and removed only during low tide. This stone is immediately recognizable by its concentric rings of color, earning at the name "Orbicular Ocean Jasper." The most common shades are greens and whites, with the less common shades of pinks and yellows also appearing in some specimens.

This ring was made completely by hand and one-of-a-kind.
No two rings will ever look a like.
There is sterling silver, copper and gold-filled wire but
your looking at the end so the gold-filled is probably brass.
The bezel is a floral anitque pattern design and a small but
strong band. The resin piece measures 7/16" diameter and sets about an 1/4" up from the finger. Black resin holds
it all together and gives it a very vivid impression.

A collage of my favorite gemstones held together with a clear resin. Different sizes, shapes and colors of heishi beads.
You can see a few of my mosaic pieces if you look closely and anything else I could find to fit snugly in this 7/8" by 1 7/8" setting, the enter rim is copper with a floral design bezel on the outside. This is a hefty pendant and good size bail, the piece will become more striping once the copper turns to it's dark reddish color. The cleaning process goes from a bastard file down to a 8000 grit polishing paper. These pictures do not do this piece justice.

This is a beautiful stone and comes in many earth tone shades. This designer cut stone sets in a fine silver bezel with a decorative edge and pattern back. Pendant measures 5/8" wide X 2" high.

You know nothing about Morrison Ranch, "WELL" let me tell you about Morrison Ranch.
Commonly known as Morrison ranch in southeastern Oregon.
(Yes, the same ranch that was once owned by the late Jim Morrison, noted singer of the rock group "The Doors".)

In those early days, Morrisonite jasper was known only to a select few, but was very highly prized, nonetheless. It remains so to this day, gaining fans and appreciating in value on an almost daily basis! Blast from the past wire wrapped hoop earrings.

These were a favorite back in the day when I did art shows.
Very comfortable and light weight, can be worn with jeans or that
little black dress. The ear wire adjusts up and down and will last
forever. I know this for a fact because I still see people wearing them today.

These earrings are made for a thin earlobe and can be made larger,
don't you just hate a long ear-wire hanging out the front.

I don't believe I've seen anybody make this type of earring other than me.

These earrings are made using Sterling Silver pattern (Greek Fret) wire and 19 gauge argentium silver for the ear wire.
They are 1 1/4" long and 3/8" wide, very comfortable and light weight.

Argentium is much stronger than sterling and works well with this type of earring. The 19 gauge wire is heavier than the normal ear wire. To put the wire thru with ease, rub the wire thru your hair first.

The opal is 5/16" by 1/4" bezel set in fine silver and the frame is 6/8" by 5/8" Oval.
The total length is 1 1/4" long. I think these opals are called doublet.
Between the opal and outer frame is small pieces of curved filigree wire for sparkle.
Clear resin holds the filigree in place.

Opal doublets are a backing layer of onyx or matrix (ironstone) gives the more fragile opal layer support and can make the opal look darker and higher quality

A 7mm white un-drilled Pearl is caged in a argentium silver framework to let the pearl move freely about. The cage is then soldered to a textured jump ring of the same diameter. The ear wire has a textured domed cup soldered on front, so very little of the ear wire shows. Similar to wearing a post earring without the nut.
Cage is 3/8" diameter and the earrings are 1" tall.

This unique chain is made up of two well kind symbols. They have been called many different names over many years. I choose to call them the double infinity and lovers knot. Each link has two independent circles that has been formed and inter-locked to make one link. A nautical type clasp (5/8" X 3/4") has been added for no other reason than I like it. A decorative link that can be worn to the front or back.
Five double infinity (3/8"X 7/8") and 25 lovers (1/4" X 1/2")knot links make up this 23” long chain.
Made from Argentium silver, all made by hand, all links are fused.

*A note about Argentium sterling silver. Regular sterling silver is 925 pure silver mixed with copper. It is the copper that causes the silver to tarnish. A new product on the market, Argentium silver is still 925 pure silver, but the copper has been replaced with Argentium. The Argentium helps to retard tarnishing. Any darkening of the silver can be removed with dishwashing soap and water.

This shadow agate is 18mm by 14.5mm or(11/16" by 9/16").

The band is argentium silver and heftier than most, fine silver bezel and sterling base.
This agates exhibits a shadow effect in which there is what appears to be movement across the agate layers when the specimen is rocked back and forth (or your orientation to the specimen moves). This optical effect only occurs when there are alternating translucent and opaque bands. It is caused when light goes into the agate, but is not reflected out.
The price is lower than usual because the setting is slightly off...amusing what a camera can bring out.

These earrings are made up with 8 little round floral sterling silver disk and freshwater pearls at the bottom of each. Each little disk has floral textured, cut, filed, a hole drilled, concaved to each soldered jump ring. Little round silver balls were added and jump from one side to the other. This pendant has 2 bezels, one around the jasper, an outer one that is flares and both are textured. Between the 2 bezels are cut out scallops and a antiqued, textured back.
The back also extends beyond the piece and is antiqued. The huge bail is textured, antiqued and about 3/16" wide.
The entire piece is sterling silver and measures: 2 3/16" long by 1 1/4" wide.

The butterfly jasper measures 1 1/4" by 5/16" or 31mm by 17.5mm.
The colors are much more rich than shown in these pictures.
Colors are steely deep teal, soft golds and rust, creamy sages and grey, all mixed in marvelous abstract designs.

Faced earrings are 1/2" by 3/4" and the entire earring is 1 1/2" long, 19 gauge argentium silver ear wire.
The sole face in the center is 5/8" by 7/8", could be use as a pendant or mounted in a ring and is domed.
The center face at the bottom is 5/8" by 7/8" and the 2 smaller ones are 7/16" by 9/16". All pieces are precious metals clay except for the ear wires and are all unfinished.
The original pieces were curved out of ploymer clay and a plaster casting was made for porcelain. Beaders would use
them to bead around for pendants and earrings. I never cared about beading but I loved to make the faces. Then PMC was created and that open up a new can of worms.
I will never do anything with these pieces and I hope someone can find a use for them. They are all solid and well made.

The first piece on the left is 1 1/4" by 1 1/4" and has history wrote on the front, verbage on the back in the fourth picture. I made it the same day Spitzer resigned. It's fairly thin but strong and won't bend. I think I was
planning on making a book type pendant.
The piece at the top is 1/2" by 7/8", it's thick and could be a pendant or charm. It has verbage on the back that says...Oh shit I've become my mother...shown in the last picture.
The triangle pieces in the center are Sterling silver 9/16" by 1 1/4" and was met for earrings and probably some resin coloring.
The last piece is 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" and called "Kitty in the City" I left out the (the) word and added it later and that caused the "oops" at the top. A lot of scroll work and I'm a big fan of Obama and I sure hope we can. This piece is thick and needs a bail. I first made a mold from ploymer clay, made another mold to push the PMC in and added the kitty later. Lots of work, hope someone likes it.

This pendant was sculpted from PMC-fine silver clay.
It has a anitqued background with a thin layer of resin to
keep the color. It has a annotation on the back side which reads:

The hand writing isn't that great but you
get the message. The pendant measures 1 1/8" by 7/8" with a 16 gauge argentium jump ring.
The third picture is the raw clay before fired. The forth picture are the two pendants together.

This has to be my favorite piece at the moment.
The original pendant was made in layers (on my Flickr).
Building the urban area in front or on top of the cityscape.
As I was finishing it, my mother came in my workshop and showed me a card she had received from her life insurance company.
I had never heard this before and thought it was a hoot.
It immediately went on the back of the pendant. Then I made a mold and made a smaller version you see here.

This square box pendant is made using precious metals clay with a huge sterling silver bail attached. This piece is probably 10 years old, found while cleaning. This one of a kind piece brought me happiness to make because of the many different floral designs and the hand sculpted faces. There is something inside the pendant to make a mysterious rattle when shaken. It is time for one of my favorite pieces to find a new home. I hope this pendant will bring you as much joy as it has me through the years.....The years had added some interesting aging affect and it was completely black. I used a steel brush to clean it and came up with this satin finish.
I sculpted the face by hand, the flowers were made by making a mold of brass findings.
Another interesting design concept of this piece is that it is reversible, notice the side that showcases two genuine amethyst. My signature stamp is on the bottom.
