Cigar Box Clock

$17.00
Many men like a good cigar along with a drink. My husband does (He does NOT smoke in the house!). This is one of his wood cigar boxes that I transformed into a clock.
Button bottles of wine and champagne are in the top corners with a beer stein, a drink shaker and a martini on the bottom. The clock movement is quartz and needs one AA battery which is included. The hands are gold tone.
I have placed a sawtooth hanger on the back but the clock will stand by itself if that's what is chosen. The lid does open for access to the clock mechanism and to insert the battery.
Need a gift for your Dad, uncle, male friend? Here's one that he will appreciate.

PLEASE NOTE: I pack my clocks very carefully and have never had any breakage.

Check out the rest of my items
http://allaboutthebuttons.etsy.com

All four black and black & white buttons are vintage and work great with the modern, angular design. The clock hands are silver and also play well with the theme. All of this sits atop a CD so that is the size.
The clock mechanism is quartz and needs 1 AA battery which is included. There is a notch in the back for hanging. The easel is for display purposes only.
PLEASE NOTE: I pack my clocks very carefully and have never had any breakage.

It is 8" (20 1/2cm) across with a deep well in the center...almost, but not quite, a soup dish. The wonderful mustard and green tones will go well with many settings. I have embellished the 3 and 9 o'clock places with clusters of food, kitchen and regular buttons.
Won't this look great in a kitchen, especially one with a retro feel?

PLEASE NOTE: I pack my clocks very carefully and have never had any breakage. If I am off on the postage by more than $1.00 you will get a paypal refund.

Check out the rest of my items
http://allaboutthebuttons.etsy.com

I layered over 14 papers and further embellished them with more round things~buttons, beads, jump rings and jewelry findings.
This was all placed upon a slice of balsa wood and will add color and texture to its location. Ironically I chose a square checked paper for the backing.
ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions & Originals." They are miniature works of art with one constant- they will always measure 2.5" x 3.5". I will never repeat this piece.
What a great and inexpensive way to buy original art!

See more at allaboutthebuttons.etsy.com

I love the hand drawn feeling of the flowers and shapes.
This 8 1/4" (21cm) plate is rimmed in a paint stroke brown. The inside has a light beige floor with the effect of hand painted stars, flowers, leaves and paisley squiggles in pale blue, coral and green. I embellished with buttons and beads scattered around. The pale coral ladybug is in the 12:00 position.
The clock mechanism is quartz and needs 1 AA battery which is included. The minute & hour hands are black matte and the second hand is goldtone. There is a notch in the back for hanging.
I can think of many places in my house where this can be hung. How about yours?

PLEASE NOTE: I pack my clocks very carefully and have never had any breakage.
See more at allaboutthebuttons.etsy.com

I always listen to my supplies so here it is!
The clock base is a CD with the paper adhered to it. A little bell is in the 12:00 position and stars mark the 3,6, and 9 places. A tiny red star sits on the gold tone hands. The clock mechanism is quartz and it needs 1 AA battery which is included. There is a notch in the back for hanging. This one measures just 1 1/4" across. On one end is a crystal from an old necklace and the other end holds a vintage purple glass button. Two coordinating buttons anchor the middle. Looks great on a shirt, sweater, lapel or even your purse. High impact and affordable!

I love little things, collages and certain materials. Finally I put them altogether with help from some great etsy sellers.
This one is a piece of thin balsa wood and is covered with a gift of vintage looking paper from http://bellacolle.etsy.com
The wonderful mother of pearl rose heart is from http://craftdiner.etsy.com and the amazing dotted boot is from http://highpie.etsy.com The watch face is real (and fittingly says "Pearl") and I've further embellished with velvet ribbon and buttons and beads.
The back is covered with a contrasting paper and this piece is never to be duplicated.

ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions & Originals." They are miniature works of art with one constant- they will always measure 2.5" x 3.5". What a great and inexpensive way to buy original art!

This clock was one of my featured items in a book titled Button!Button! published by Lark Books this past April. It was a very exciting experience to be published and I am now ready to part with this clock which was also on the back cover of the book.

The base is an 11" (28cm)solid wood charger plate. The inside rim is filled with real wood and wood tone buttons, many vintage. Four toggle buttons mark the 3,6,9 & 12 spots. (These can easily be removed if you desire a cleaner look.) A sprinkling of beads here and there completes it. The clock hands are black and the mechanism is quartz. There is a notch in the back for hanging.
The first three pictures show the grain of the wood which is apparent when you see the clock. The photos in the book make the grain disappear.
If you'd like, I'll sign it!!! Just kidding!

Please Note: I pack my clocks very carefully and am proud to have never had any breakage.
