These fabulous texture blocks are bright, soft and gushy and are great toys for the babies and toddlers in your life. Once you hold one, you can't stop squeezing it!

This set is a great baby shower gift and would be a nice gift for the new baby and/or toddler in your life.

Made of double-layered fleece, these blocks are appliquéd with various shapes each in a different color and texture. Stuffed with polyester fill, each block has a bell buried inside, which results in a muted jiggle - not the annoying clang that some toys create. The edges of the blocks provide a perfect grip for children just learning to grasp.

This set is made up of 1 large - 7" block, 1 medium - 6" block and 1 small - 5" block. As I try to make each block I sew unique, your blocks may vary from the images shown.

The large block is appliquéd with 6 items, the medium block is appliquéd with 4 items, and the small block is appliquéd with 2 items. Each block is unique but some of the appliqué shapes are cars, trucks, circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, hearts, moon crescents, dogs, butterflies, and fish. If you have a specific request for shapes and/or color, please convo me.

I do sell blocks separately and in different combinations. Please contact me for details and pricing.

Machine quilted, this delightful printed panel celebrates the joy of Christmas. The snowman holds a sign that states “It’s the most Wonderful Time of the Year”. Perfect to decorate your home for the holidays or as a welcoming greeting on your front door.

I used thread painting and outline quilting to accent the Santa, snowman and background features. This lovely wallhanging was created using 100% cotton fabric and has a solid light blue cotton fabric backing. I have sewn a rod pocket for easy hanging (hanging rod is not included).

Christmas Stocking Red with Appliqued Snowflakes - Poppy Patch Quiltery

This Christmas Stocking is quilted on red cotton fabric using polyester batting. Two snowflakes have been appliqued onto the front of the stocking which were accented with red stitch quilting and sequins. Background quilting was stitched in white thread.

The cuff, loop and lining are sewn from coordinated white on white snowflake print cotton fabric. Red trim finishes off the cuff.

Personalization: Available for an additional $3. If desired, I will stitch the name of your choice onto the cuff of the stocking. If desired, include the name to be stitched in the Notes to Seller section during the purchasing process and I will invoice seperately.

Stocking measures approximately 15" long, 7" wide at cuff and 12" wide at the toe.

I take custom orders for personalized Christmas stockings and Christmas tree skirts.

Quilted Star Wallhanging - Sing to the Lord

Machine pieced and quilted, this delightful wallhanging was designed using the classic eight- pointed star quilt block. I used a cotton fabric printed with Psalms 98:1 – “Sing to the Lord a new song for he has done marvelous things” in the center focus square to create this inspiring quilt.

This stirring wallhanging was created using 100% cottons in green, pink and brown to accent the center square. I quilted this piece in my original “petals and leaves” meander using a beautiful variegated pink 40 wt. cotton thread.

I used natural colored muslin for the backing and polyester batting. Triangle side hanging pockets have been sewn in for easy hanging (hanging rod is not included).

Rag Quilt with Shapes in Orange, Green and Yellow - Poppy Patch Quiltery

A fabulous quilt created as a variation on the standard baby rag quilt. I have used basic shapes and a raw edge, reverse appliqué technique to reveal the center flannel in each square. Stitched using a bright yellow thread, the shapes can be identified on both the front and back of this fun quilt.

This super soft, colorful quilt was constructed with three layers of cotton flannel. Perfect for tummy time or to keep the chill off your little one, this quilt will continue to soften with use.

Shapes include: Square, Rectangle, Triangle, Circle, Oval, Pentagon, Heart, Diamond, Trapezoid and Star

Care: Machine wash on gentle in cool water and machine dry. I have clipped and washed the quilt once to begin the ragging effect which will continue to improve with each washing.

Scrappy Stars Quilted Wall Hanging - Poppy Patch Quiltery

Machine pieced and quilted, this wonderful wall hanging has twelve small (5”) stars surrounded by a prairie point border. The stars were designed and sewn using a paper-piece technique allowing me to create my own star shape giving this wall hanging a unique look. I outline quilted this wall hanging in coordinated thread to retain a simple and casual feel.

Kites in Flight Toddler Quilt - Poppy Patch Quiltery

Kites soar across the light blue sky in this delightful toddler quilt. Each unique kite has been pieced into the sky fabric and the kite tails are embroidered using dark blue embroidery floss. The backing fabric is pale blue cotton. This quilt would make a wonderful baby shower or birthday gift for the special little boy or girl in your life.

A low loft polyester batting gives this lovely quilt warmth without a lot of bulk and allows for easy care. The quilting, which meanders across the quilt like a soft blowing breeze, finishes off this beautiful quilt without the stiffness of a heavily quilted piece. Measuring 44" x 52", my Kites in Flight quilt is generously sized and fits great on a toddler’s bed.

My original design for my “Kites in Flight” quilts was inspired by a quilt given to me by my dear friend, Joan, to celebrate the birth of my daughter.
