Ribbon roses with mint green 'leaves' and tightly-wound cream-colored rosebud centers. 1.25" across. Manufactured by Fashion Ribbon Co., NYC and made in Haiti. Purchased from the estate of a seamstress who had a small sewing store that closed in the mid 1960s. You'll receive a plastic zip-lock bag filled with 100 bows.

Perfect for decorating clothing (as they were originally intended) but also cute for scrapbooking and crafting (maybe glued to a small box or picture frame or sewed in rows on a pillow).

Vintage Embroidered Holiday Apron

This vintage waist-tie apron is made from heavy white linen (see the detail photos for the correct color; the photo of the whole apron makes it look too yellowish). It has a sheer red waistband (the waistband and ties are actually one long piece) and ruffle along the bottom hem. Red binding on the sides. Embroidered on the body are a Christmas tree done in two shades of green, red, and black with gold thin ribbon accents—mostly cross stitch with a few straight and lazy-daisy stitches. On either side are red bells with holly leaves and berries. There are rhinestones on the top of the tree and bottoms of the bells. Straight stitch "stars", embroidered with thin gold ribbon are scattered around the other motifs. Lots of great details and expertly-done embroidery. Very good condition. The fabric has a tendency to wrinkle badly so you may want to use some spray startch when ironing this. I'd guess the age to be 1970s and the size to be small. Measurements are waistband 16", ties 22" each, waist to hem 17.5"

Large batch of vintage glass buttons - all in the same style and shape. 11/16" across. Wavy top surface, tortoiseshell pattern, shank back. You'll receive twenty-three buttons in all: 3 red, 4 burgundy, 5 dark (forest) green, 1 brown, 3 blue, 7 charcoal gray. Purchased on Ebay several years ago in a mixed lot of buttons from the Lidz Brothers factory in New York. Very good condition. 1960s.

The cards are printed on medium-weight card stock with a slightly shiny coating, folded in half with the front measuring 3-3/8" by 4-3/4". Cute art of a red-haired baby boy in a sailboat with a plaid stuffed rabbit and bluebird. Two yellow ducks float nearby. Script text appears on the inside with lines for filling in name, date, time, length, weight, and parents names. Matching envelopes are included. ©1975. Very good condition with no packaging or outer wrapping. I'll package them in plastic for their trip to you.

Two packages of vintage wedding shower invitations from Charm Craft Publishers, Inc. Each package has ten cards with matching envelopes so you'll receive a total of twenty cards. The cards measure 2-7/8" by 4-7/8" and feature a medium-weight white card stock folded in half. The front has artwork of a pink umbrella surrounded by falling pink, blue, and lavender shoes and dotted yellow lines depicting rain. Inside, on the left side, is a small art spot of a jar of rice and a shoe. Script text with lines for filling in date, time, and place on the right side. Not sure of age on these, but probably early 1960s. Excellent condition with one package sealed and the other opened by me so I could photograph the inside of the card.

Four yellow and white plastic buttons shaped like tiny pencils. 1" long by 3/16" wide. Two hole sew-through. I'm also including a single painted metal button that is similar in style. It's 3/4" long by 1/4" wide and has a shank back. All are in excellent condition. I'm not calling these vintage since I really don't know - I suspect the metal button is a bit older than the plastic ones, but none are older than the 1980s.
