i was wondering why i was so drawn to painting elephants, especially with their trunks up and did some reading about how they are a strong symbol for luck! You probably knew that, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they are also symbols for:

This painting was made right after a month in Italy! The elephant is collaged with old Italian letters found at the Florence flea market. The deep colors of the Venetian waters along with the bright buildings are reflected. The original painting was made with acrylic on canvas with a silver leaf boat.
