I'm not sure how the "XO" came to mean hugs and kisses, but as soon as I see those two letters that is what immediately comes to mind.

Give hugs and kisses with this soft and pretty mixed media Valentine heart. Made with embossed wallpaper, silky sky blue rosette with a handmade raspberry ribbon rose in the middle. Creamy vintage buttons, the "XO" banner and a sprinkling of pink glass glitter finish off this sweet piece.
