About this Painting: A few years ago, I spent some time on my own in Europe. One clear morning I awoke to a fresh blanket of snow covering my once familiar surroundings.

I took a little journey with my camera and followed various people out of the edge of the city and into the hills. This particular painting was inspired from a photo in my collection from that day. I was following a monk up the road into the hillside. I couldn't believe how still everything was. When I painted this, that was the strongest memory for me. Only the crunching of my boots on the white path.

The sides of this canvas are painted black, so no frame is needed. This artist only uses professional quality paint and materials.

These are the same sturdy tents that Betty makes for her grandchildren - there have been some pretty wild doll camping trips in the Wiebe clan.

Super portable, just remove the wooden support and this tent collapses flat. Perfect for taking along to grandma's house!

This handcrafted doll tent would make a fabulous, unique gift for that special one in your life. Recommended age 3+.

About the Seamstress: My mother in law, Betty Wiebe, has been sewing for herself, her daughters, granddaughters for over forty years. More recently she has been selling at artisan and craft fairs. I hope share her quality work with an even broader audience online.

All of her pieces have been created in a smoke and pet free home and are beautifully finished. She uses new fabric and trim and her straight seams and attention to detail are the mark of a lady who has been doing this for quite some time.
