I approach design as I would a blank canvas. I am influenced by my mood, surroundings, or even what materials are readily available. I often use exposed stitches and raw edges to make my role in the making all the more evident. I try to infuse personality into each piece, carefully selecting each fabric and embellishment, fusing the vintage and modern.
