Glass work and jewelery made with glass pieces. My primary technique isthe ancient technique of pate de verre. Pate de Verre is French for "glass paste, and is a technique using glass frits and powders placed in a mold and fired in a kiln. It was very popular in the 1880s to 1920's, and known for its translucent look. I also do fused and slumped glass pieces. All my pieces are one of a kind. I can make similar items but I can never replicate the exact mixture of glass. So each item is really unique. ************************************************************ lisa
