For the most part, Slack Buddha Studios specializes in deluxe, handbound artist's and writer's journals in boards covered with many different kinds of papers--often handmade/hand-decorated and from Asia--with hand-torn, deckle-edged rives bfk lightweight paper, a 100% cotton rag paper from France that's used for sketching, drawing, some painting, and printmaking. It's great for writing, too! For these very special journals we only use archival daveyboard, linen thread, and adhesives.
We have made a number of custom journals for our customers, and we would be delighted to take your custom order for a journal or guestbook; you can choose from our wide array of papers for the covers, endpapers, spine decoration, and text block. We happily ship internationally.
