As well as their commitment to making strides in monitoring the occurrence of Sickle Cell, improving the quality of life for those with the disease and cooperating with individuals and institutions conducting research.
I shared a few pages from my journals with someone and it was so amazing to see that I had captured so many years of my thoughts. I also realized the value of recording my personal history.
