The Felted Heart Bear is a needle felted bear of a base color with eyes and a belly heart (or another simple design) of a secondary color. They are usually around five inches (5") each.
The Felted Avatar is a mini sized doll (around 7" and 9") and based on the complexity of the character.
The larger felted Avatar Doll depending on if the character is sitting or standing for the height. If they are sitting, it is around eight inches (8") though usually if standing are around twelve to fourteen inches (12-14") on average.
All of the felted creatures are made with non chemically processed fibers (most commercial fibers are processed with formaldahyde and are also given acid baths which do create allergic reactions in many.) I have been known to use alpaca, borderleister, silk mixed with wool, as well as angora. I am picky about the fibers that I use and if I don't like the feel of it, I presume that many others won't like them either.
The thing about the fiber avatars, bears and dolls are that they do enjoy to be touched, though you must be gentle with the creation. Touching them also helps with the felting process. Do not fear if water drops on them, it won't harm them. Spot cleaning is fine, just use a little bit of soap.
