All Gaia Conceptions clothing is designed, cut, and dyed by artist Andrea Crouse using certified organic and eco-friendly fabrics. Each creation is hand sewn by Andrea and her helpers Stephanie and Kathy. Your garment is then hand dyed using fiber reactive low impact dyes or natural plant dyes. Andrea custom makes each garment just for you based on your size and color choice. IT IS MY GOAL TO MAKE MY CLIENTS HAPPY WITH THEIR GAIA CONCEPTIONS PURCHASE AND I’M PLEASED TO WORK WITH YOU UNTIL WE GET IT JUST RIGHT!
The FABRICS I use are the following: CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON - is grown in Texas, ginned in North Carolina, and made into fabric in South Carolina. This is my most sustainable fabric and I offer a knit or stretchy lycra. This fabric is very soft and smooth. HEMP/CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON BLEND - Is grown and spun in China under fair trade. This fabric has a mild stretch and is very soft. It is offered in a knit or a stretchy lycra. This fabric is a bit thicker and more textured when compared to the organic cotton. ORGANIC HEMP/COTTON FLEECE - This is a fantastic super warm fleece. Soft and fuzy on the inside and smooth on the outside. Grown and Spun in China under fair trade. ORGANIC WOOL - This fabric is a soft, warm 100% NOP certified organic knit wool from Vermont. ================================================================================== HOW TO ORDER...........current turnaround is 1-2 weeks from payment

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS: I will custom make your item once order is placed based on your size choice and/or measurements. Please use the size chart represented in image 4 or 5 with most items to determine your general size. It also helps to include measurements and let me know if you have a unique quality such as: long waisted, short legs, or pregnant. Please visit my shop policies section for measurement directions. It is normal for your garment to be a bit snug at first. It will relax out after about 15 min of wearing. The model in most of these images is B-37, W-28, Hip-38 and is wearing a size small for a more fitted look.
COLOR: Each Garment is dyed by hand with fiber reactive dyes or natural dyes. The color chart is located in image 5 with most items. For a description of all my colors visit my profile. *IMPORTANT* Also note that colors vary depending on your computer and color settings. Colors may also vary slightly from dye bath to dye bath. This is the nature of dyeing things by hand. Any slight tone variations due to the hand dyeing process will even out during first few washing. If you decide to have your Garment naturally dyed please purchase the Make Mine with Natural Plant Dye option for each garment and read carfully. ======================================================================================
