In the high desert of southern Utah I tend a small herd of goats. A tough little group - have to be in this environment. But they thrive here and supply me with sweet, rich milk for my soap.
And what soap! As you can imagine I put quite a bit of time & effort into the milk part of my soap so I'm not willing to compromise on the other ingredients. Tweaking and changing over the years. Working out the perfect proportions of oils to get the right balance of conditioning and cleansing. Experimenting with combinations of essential or fragrance oils to get the scents just right. And lather? Who doesn't love a big fat bubbly lather? Combinations of shea butter, olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil and more make my soap rich and decadant. Leaving your skin feeling soft and clean - not tight and irritated. As you'll see I don't do exotic shapes or add any dyes or colorants. I put all my time and effort into making an honest, skin nuturing bar of soap. The only extra I splurge on is scent and I have found that aromatherapy can play a big role in the state of your mind. That's a well proven fact and important to your well-being. That's why, just like I do with my oils, the essential and fragrance oils that I use are the best quality I can find and are tested on me, my family and friends. And we are a picky group, let me tell you.
Also, I make my soap in small batches and cut and trim them by hand. That's why no two bars are ever the same. But they are guaranteed to weigh over 6 ounces every time. They come packaged in clear cello bags. In fact they never leave my soap room till they are packaged and ready for the customer so you are assured that you are getting a pristine item - never handled by another. Except the soap maker - me.
