I am one of the original "dinosaur potters." At one time, twenty or so years ago, that meant a small select group of like-minded potters committed to doing every aspect of our craft by hand. Now, it more likely just means I'm getting old! I have been making pots now for thirty-five years, but I'm here to testify that the passion can still burn strong after a long period of time! I'm here on Etsy because I sense the markets changing, and want to move along with them rather than be left behind. So look around, check out my wares, and get in touch if you've any questions. All of my work is high-fired stoneware, decorative as well as utilitarian. It is food safe (no harmful chemicals in the glazes), able to be used in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher, but I also intend it to enhance your home when it is not in use on your table or in your kitchen. All pieces are packed carefully (been packing and shipping my work for nearly 30 years) and shipped USPS Priority mail. Larger items will be insured. If you are in the western NY state area, you can contact me and arrange to pick up, if you wish. I have been supporting myself making and selling pots for a long time...it's important that my customers be happy with my work.
