NOTE: Natural Henna Pasted is used to stain wood if the image is dark brown to burgundy in the pictures. If it is black the method used includes henna with a man-made dye additive to produce the black stain.
Natural Henna on wood is a multistep process, the paste takes several days to mix and cure in order to produce a stain. Then the paste (thickness similiar to thin toothpaste) is hand applied in decorative detailed patterns. The paste is left to dry for several days before removal. In about 8 to 10 days the stain begins to darken based on the wood and the paste the stain may turn deep burgundy or dark brown. The entire process takes about 3 to 4 weeks per piece.
