A Little About Myka Jelina: I am full time artist. I have been creating art for most of my life and have been selling original art, prints and licensed merchandise on Ebay for more than four years now. I started selling on Etsy just a few shorts months ago, and I love it:) My modern Gothic fantasy art, using elements like jewel-tone colors, tattoos,transcendent wings, fashion,hair style, heavy boots, bright faces with expressive eyes, is my contribution to the timeless mysteries of inspiration. Most of the gothic fairies I have painted have actual names to assist in their assimilation into our modern world. My artwork has been used on t-shirts, posters, body mists, air fresheners stickers and more. You probably have seen some of my work at Hot Topic, Target or walking down the street. I like using acrylic paints on masonite panel although I often work in a variety of media like colored pencil, watercolor charcoal, ink and digital. More than anything I enjoy creating one of a kind items that can only be purchased directly through me. It keeps me connected with my collector on a more personal level.
