Welcome to Shining Stones! I create unique jewelry with inspirational themes, specializing in Recovery Jewelry.
I am a former corporate executive, now a proud stay-at-home mother of two young children. I have a passion for creating jewelry with themes of recovery, hope, strength and peace.
I am also a woman in recovery from alcoholism. I began beading and making jewelry before I entered recovery, and I found that it brought me peace during very troubling times. Once in recovery, I started making recovery jewelry for my friends who were also struggling with this baffling disease, and I found it brought them a measure of hope and courage. This sparked the idea to start Shining Stones; to spread a message of hope and unity to more people in recovery. There are so many different ways people are in recovery: from addiction, illness, stress, divorce and loss, just to name a few. My recovery jewelry is made from semi-precious stones, each carrying a specific meaning to provide courage and, most importantly, hope to those in need.
