Welcome to Audacious Acres, browse around and see what we have to offer. We are passionate about what we do and strive to provide unique and interesting items that will be loved and cherished today and will become family heirlooms tomorrow.
We are located in scenic Walkersville, Maryland, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. On our farm, we maintain a small herd of goats and sheep, a retired therapeutic riding horse, some chickens and ducks, and some feral cats, many of which have been rescued from some unfortunate situations.
A good day always starts by hugging a goat, a horse, and /or a sheep, throwing ducks and chickens some scratch, and giving a feral cat a wink, followed by getting your faced licked by one of our dogs, and then getting screamed at by our macaw. So to sum it up, we love our animals and work very hard to keep them happy!
I spin all of my own yarns, unless otherwise noted, and dye many of the colors myself. I love colors, so sometimes I go a little crazy! I also knit, crochet and do a little weaving and bead work.
My goal is to ship items within 48 hours of receipt payment (checks and money orders clear). All Items will be shipped via USPS Priority mail, with delivery confirmation, unless otherwise noted or requested. If you need it a little quicker, let me know and I will do everything I can to make it work!
