Hello and welcome! Akeewakee (otherwise known as Aek and Cory) is proud to join the community of artisans who make up Etsy!
We've been in business since 2003, and began by offering our candles in our French Quarter boutique until the arrival of Hurricane Katrina.
We now live and work out of our studio in Mandeville, Louisiana.
Each of our candles is individually handmade and hand-poured using the finest ingredients available. If living green is important to you, you'll find no lead or zine wire core, no genetically modified ingredients, no synthetic stabilizers added, no pesiticdes or herbicides used in the growing of our ingredients, and no animal testing in any of our candles.
Our White Medallion line features the highest quality soy wax, and all natural essential oils blended with no more than 20% and as little as 2% fragrance oils which we obtain exclusively from a fifth-generation world class perfumer. The patented, all natural plant fiber wick reduces soot and carbon.
