Hi there! My name is Crystal ( yes, really! ) and I am a glass addict! I have been melting glass for over 10 years now. Glass is in my soul. Glass is such a magical thing. It goes from solid to liquid and back to solid again at EXTREMELY high temperatures. It is the child of lightening! My glasswork is a dance that happens deep within me and is expressed through my torch. I have to create glass objects. They are in my head and just have to come out! Each morning is Christmas as I go to my kiln and take out the new borns that were created the evening before! Glass is one of the few arts that can't be actually touched while you are creating it. It has to be felt through the metal rod you are creating it on. You can only actually touch it once it has cooled down overnight in the kiln. I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy creating them. It is hard to part with so many of them...as they all come from my soul! These treasures should last for generations!
