Fatty Corners Quilts - Where did I come up with that name? My daughter was my constant companion on all my trips to the quilt store to buy fat quarters for my projects. When she was older, she confessed that she thought I was buying "fatty corners." When I decided to open up a small quilt store inside my husband's coffee bar, I couldn't think of a better name. And when you think about it, a fat quarter IS the fat corner of a yard of fabric!
Quilting buddies, cardmakers and artists who create fabric postcards and ATCs need supplies to complete their projects and this is where they shop! Fat quarters (cotton and silk), batik grab bags, hand dyed silk scraps, Dye-Na-Flow, Lumiere and textile paints, Angelina fibers, beads, embellishments and kits to make mini quilts or art dolls are waiting in my store for you. Try a new technique! Take a chance and see what sparks your creative spirit!

I am a Texan by choice, but born and raised in Southern California. I may live in the rural Central Texas but I have a whole lotta West Coast attitude and flair. Makes for a very creative combo!
