  • Trish Czech

    Owner, Sculptor

Trish believes that not all art should be serious; people--especially adults--could use a bit more whimsy in their daily lives. Also, art should be accessible and affordable. She has degrees in English with a writing emphasis and psychology.

  • Cookie

    Break-time Decreer

Cookie announces when it is break time, complains, and plays the-floor-is-hot-lava.

Production partners

  • Sindri Solutions

    United States

I designed a pin based on a clay Timid Monster I had made, and then ordered the enamel pins through Sindri Solutions in order to participate in Pin Bazaar at a recent convention I exhibited at.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I try to take on custom and personalized order when possible; unfortunately my schedule does not always allow for this. I suggest asking and, in the case of gift-giving, asking early! Especially if you want the item in time for the holidays.

Wholesale availability

Please contact me either via Etsy Conversations or by email at timidmonsters(at)gmail.com with questions or to receive a wholesale packet. While I love the chance to have Timid Monsters available in physical stores, I do not always have the stock on hand due to the various in person events I participate in. Time (and patience on your part) allowing, however, I am happy to make a batch or few of Monster specifically for your store!

Breakage during shipping

While rare, Timid Monsters can sometimes be casualties of shipping. Should this occur, please contact me via Etsy Conversations up receipt. To resolve this issue, I can:
1) Send out another of the same Monster, so long as it is in stock. Should it not be, you can select a Monster of equal or lesser value, with the difference in price being refunded. -or-
2) Issue a refund for the cost of item, and you can attempt a repair. For minor breaks, such as a horn popping out of it's socket, Krazy Glue brand super glue is great! Squeeze a drop or two onto a non-porous surface (ie. wax paper), and lightly dip the horn into the super glue before affixing it to its socket.
In either case, you keep the damaged Timid Monster.
