Unique and Commissioned Furniture Handcrafted with Passion

I moved west as a young man from the green hills of Vermont to the rugged mountains of Montana. After acquiring my masters of architecture Montana State, my wife Danielle and I migrated south, out of the snow, to amazing Boise, Idaho.

Since moving to Boise I split my time between designing homes through my firm Gravitas and designing furniture through Studio 1212. This gives me a comfortable balance of the macro – big picture design of the home and the micro – fine details design of the furniture.

I have been enjoying projects that integrate and incorporate reclaimed and repurposed materials and objects. One of my next projects will be a coffee table blending a modern design with mid-century soap box derby race wheels. There are so many objects around us every day that can be given new life in a one of a kind piece of furniture. I have a collection of such objects in my studio that are awaiting the right blend of inspiration and creativity to emerge. Look for the newest releases in my ETSY store.

We work in the heart of the Live-Work-Create district in Garden City, Idaho, a happening little spot with lots of creatives and good energy.
